1. Give us back our freedom
"Born a woman, I feel unfortunate for myself" is taken from a quote from the old books and newspapers.
The person who said this was a teenage girl, and when I first heard it, I was amazed at what it had been through to say such a thing at such an age.
"Mother, my chest is tight, my chest hurts, I, I can't breathe"
"The child endures, and the uneducated countryman holds his chest up, inhales, and it doesn't hurt if he endures it for a while"
The mother looked at the pain of her daughter's chest being tied, and felt distressed, but the movements of her hands could not be stopped, their family was a famous family, as a lady of everyone, she could not be like that vulgar countryman, with her chest held high.
During the Republic of China, not only the little feet but also the cerebellum were wrapped, and I don't know when the woman's high chest became a sin.
If a woman from any family does not bind her breasts and allows her two big breasts to dangle in front of people's eyes, she will become the object of ridicule. No matter the size of the breasts, you have to bind your breasts, but you can't do it, and you have to walk with your breasts in your arms to cover your bulging breasts.

Second, the outbreak of the celestial milk movement
On May 4, 1919, the May Fourth Movement broke out, setting off a new patriotic upsurge across the country, and the people of all walks of life united to oppose the government in various ways to achieve the goal of anti-imperialist and anti-feudalism.
The old feudalism needs to change, and critical voices large and small will come out.
In 1920, the Shanghai government promulgated a document:
"Those who deliberately wear strange clothes so that their arms and necks are exposed are allowed to be immediately arrested and punished according to the regulations."
It was also the issuance of this decree that lifted the last fig leaf of the hypocritical scene of the Republic of China.
As soon as this decree was issued, there were many voices of opposition, including Hu Shih, who is well known to us, one of the leaders of the May Fourth Movement.
In 1921, Mr. Hu Shi gave a public speech, calling on everyone to pay attention to women's health, abandon ignorant old ideas, give women the right to dress, and advocate equality for all.
Mr. Hu Shi also fought for women's freedom by publishing books and periodicals. As a representative of the new ideas at that time, Hu Shi's articles attracted countless followers as soon as they were published.
At the same time, it also gives some support to those who are eager to emancipate women, so that they have greater confidence and confidence.
In addition to Hu Shi and sexologist Mr. Zhang Jingsheng, as a professor of the Department of Philosophy of Peking University and one of the first people to study abroad to receive new ideas and new education, Mr. Zhang Jingsheng understands the suffering of women, which also laid the groundwork for him to lead the Tianyu Movement later.
The government's decrees became more and more stringent, the breasts were tightly tied, and the thick clothes wrapped around women's bodies and their free souls inside—women needed rights, they needed equality.
Quite a few people began to organize, handing out leaflets, giving speeches, rallying and calling for more people to join in various ways.
The more people there are, the greater the hope, and the sooner they can achieve freedom.
Finally, the celestial milk movement broke out.
On July 7, 1927, the streets were much livelier than usual today.
At that time, Zhang Jingsheng, an outstanding young man, led a large group of women to march on the streets, and surprisingly unanimous was that the women in the march did not tie their chests, but boldly exposed their necks and arms.
Among them, many women are dressed in colorful cheongsams, some are dressed in tulle, and some are wearing underwear in the style of "small vests".
They are in stark contrast to the women clustered on the streets, but the difference is that they represent a new era, a new idea.
It's hot and coquettish.
Some of the pedestrians on the side of the street pointed at them, saying, "Nondescript, not abiding by women's morals, and violating the principles of heaven", and some talked about whose girl this was, so she didn't know the inspection point, and went out wearing such a revealing dress.
What's more, according to their faces, "bah~" was full of contempt.
But there are also different shadows in the crowd.
The army roamed through every street, their slogans shouted loudly, and their actions were deafening.
Many women were encouraged to join them, and more and more of them came.
But this is not enough, there is also a famous prostitute named Jin Yayu at the head, she simply took off all her clothes and showed her completely naked body in front of the public, in order to swear that the determination of this group of women to fight for the freedom of women's power, and some women also follow Jin Yayu's example......
The celestial milk movement reached its climax, and there was a lot of movement.
The government finally compromised, and in the same year, the Guangdong government promulgated the "Proposal to Ban Women's Breasts":
"All women in the province are prohibited from binding their breasts within three months...... If the offender is still bound beyond the limit, he shall be fined not less than $50 if it is found to be the offender, and if the offender is under the age of 20, the parents shall be fined......"
And they succeeded.
The freedom we have now was earned by them at the expense of being naked and losing their dignity.
"Because only in this way can we attract widespread attention from society."
Gradually, with the introduction of government decrees, women are no longer bound to their chests, and this kind of thinking has spread to the whole country, and the sky is clear.
3. Reform is for a better tomorrow
The Heavenly Milk Movement is a product of the ideological movement, and it is a testimony of countless brave women uniting against the world.
After the Heavenly Milk Movement, people's liberation has just begun, and it is not easy to remove the concept from people's hearts at once.
At that time, movie stars were popular, they were often the bellwether of fashion trends, and young women loved to follow in their footsteps, and what the stars wore followed.
Zhang Jingsheng and his entourage found the hot star at that time, Ruan Lingyu, and united with the manufacturer of bras (also known as prosthetic breasts), and wanted to invite this smash hit star to endorse underwear advertisements, so that more women could respond positively.
Sure enough, posters of Ruan Lingyu wearing prosthetic breasts were posted on the street, and the TV was also scrolling, and the video of her wet body in a hot top, the star's effect of bringing goods was quite hot, and once it was put on the shelves, the prosthetic milk was sold out.
