An official provincial document at the beginning of the year stated that the third phase of the Xiamen urban rail plan would be approved in 2024.

The third phase of Xiamen Metro plans to declare 4 lines, including the first phase of Line 5, the first phase of Line 7, the first phase of Line 8, the second phase of Line 9, as well as supporting depots, parking lots, stations, main substations and other related projects, with a total scale of about 88km.

In this regard, the official reply: According to the rail transit network planning, there is a branch line of rail line 3 in the Xiang'an campus area of Xiamen University. At the same time, the rail transit construction project needs to be included in the Xiamen rail transit construction plan and approved by the relevant state departments before the construction can be started, and the specific construction sequence and line plan of the branch line of Line 3 will continue to deepen the study in the follow-up construction planning and project construction stage, and the specific work arrangement of the project construction shall be subject to the announcement of the rail transit construction authority.

Rail Transit Line 4 (Soft San East Station to Maluanwan South Station) project starts from Soft San East Station (not included) and ends at Maluanwan South Station, with a line length of 14.8km, all of which are laid on the underground line Guan Xin Road and Guan Kou Middle Road, with 5 stations, including 2 transfer stations, a new Cai Cuo parking lot and an in-site liaison line, a new soft three east main transformer, and the control center and Line 1 share the use of the Garden Expo Garden control center. 3. Industry orientation and investment factors

According to the characteristics of rail transit engineering, investment promotion is mainly divided into land investment and other factor investment.

Land Investment:

The land for comprehensive rail development is distributed along the rail line, advocating the TOD development concept of "station-city integration, industry priority, functional complex, and comprehensive operation", planning residential, commercial, office, rental apartment, hotel, industrial park and other diversified complex formats, and planning to introduce high-level urban comprehensive operators and developers to cooperate in development. At present, it has developed comprehensive development projects such as Joy City Commercial Complex, Jimei Software Park TOD Complex, Wetland Park TOD, Huli Park TOD Metro Apartment, Haicang Center TOD, Xiang'an Houcun TOD, etc. The TOD project has achieved remarkable results in attracting investment, and has introduced well-known domestic and foreign business management and hotel management brands such as Hong Kong New World K11, Seazen Holdings, Marriott, Ascott Singapore, and Huazhu in advance.
