Climb Mount Tai

Author: Sheng Fu, Word Count: 2199

On this trip, in addition to going to Tancheng County, Shandong Province to pay homage to the ancestral tomb of the Xu family, the rest is a serious play. Climbing Mount Tai is a very much anticipated part of the tour. Because of the special status and significance of Mount Tai, as well as the challenge of climbing Mount Tai itself. After the climb, I felt that the climb itself was okay, and there was no danger as expected. Compared with Huangshan, Mount Tai is more because of its lofty historical status. Climbing Mount Tai is limited to my sensory understanding, and the meaning is only to climb Mount Tai.

I came to Taishan (station) by train from Jinan. I arrived at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and I wanted to rest early, recharge my spirits, and prepare for the next day's climbing.

Zhongtian Gate

I woke up early in the morning, packed up the hotel, had breakfast, and took the bus to the trailhead, which was nearly half past eight.

There are two places at the mountaineering pass of Mount Tai, one is the "Red Gate", the other is the "Tianwai Village", the two are not far apart, all are in the south of Mount Tai. I chose the hotter Red Door. Buy a ticket at the visitor center through a mobile phone, and the adult ticket is 115 yuan. In order to reduce the weight of the backpack, I removed some of the items and temporarily stored them in the lockers in the visitor center, and when I came back from the mountain to pick them up, I felt that the storage fee was 26 yuan in less than seven hours, which was a bit expensive.

Officially climbed the mountain around half past eight. This time coincides with the concentration of most tourists on the mountain. Along the way, there are many tourists. The young people in the team are the new force, and the middle-aged and elderly people account for one-third, including men, women, and children. At first, everyone was brisk and excited, but the more they went up, the more tired they appeared.

I've divided the climbing process into these sections. The first section goes to Zhongtianmen, and it takes an hour and a half to arrive. The so-called Zhongtianmen is basically half climbed, and the second section is the legendary "Eighteen Plates". I knew about the eighteen plates in Feng Jicai's article very early, and in my imagination, I always thought that it was quite steep and tortuous, and it was the most difficult section of Mount Tai to climb. Actually, it's pretty much the same. From the beginning, it is basically on the feet, only the "Happy Three Miles" section is a little relatively flat. When I arrived at Zhongtianmen, I began to get tired, but I was only halfway up. Therefore, when it comes to the eighteenth plate, it is indeed the steepest, and the straight up makes people even weaker. On the way eighteen disks ago, he encountered two rescue situations and was carried down the mountain by rescuers. Looking at the figure, it is a young woman, and I think young people are too lacking in exercise. Although the eighteenth pan is the most difficult section of Mount Tai to climb, it does not feel that steep, in other words, it is not dangerous enough. However, it is very dangerous to see some tourists sitting on the stone steps to rest. In the case of a large number of people, it is unimaginable if you accidentally trip and fall. These people are young people, so I don't understand, haven't they taken this into account? Are they really too tired to move? Look at other people's uncles, they are also better than you. Mount Huangshan is more dangerous than Mount Tai. Huashan is probably more dangerous, but I haven't climbed Huashan yet.

Nantianmen

After eighteen plates, we arrived at the South Heavenly Gate. The South Heavenly Gate continues upwards, crossing the Heavenly Street, until the Jade Emperor Peak. From 8:30 to the mountain, 12:27 to the top of Mount Tai, that is, the Jade Emperor Peak, up the mountain for 4 hours, decent. Build a temple on the top, and the main hall of the temple is dedicated to the god of Mount Tai. The middle plaque is "Purple Hope Relic Wind", the right plaque is "Weishi Shifang", and the left plaque is "Famous Shenzhou". Couplet: Dominate the group of spirits and end the purple pole, and the 絪 (?) 缊真zai pen Yuan Gong. The right side of the hall is the God of Wealth Temple, the God of Wealth has the God of Wealth, the God of Martial Wealth. The left hall is the Kannon Pavilion. The middle courtyard, that is, the top of Mount Tai - several protruding stones, are encircled, erect a tablet, carved Mount Tai sea dial 1545 meters. The Taishan sea dial is not high, but the route up is relatively straight and steep. Due to its special geographical location, it has become the place where the emperor worships the heavens and seals Zen in history, so the blessing, Mount Tai has the title of the sacred mountain in the minds of the Chinese. I don't remember where I read it, saying that Grandma Taishan appeared to the spirit, especially for some women in order to give birth to sons or pray for peace and health, climb Mount Tai to burn incense and make vows, and the devotion is so devout, it is true today. But I'm sorry, but I'm a man who has been forsaken by God. But I have a lot of respect for everyone's beliefs, and I also believe that there is a god and Grandma Taishan. In my heart, there is a sense of awe.

In the back mountain of the Jade Emperor, that is, the North Mountain, is a cliff, a large valley, probably there is a way up the mountain. I intended to climb to the top, and the others only went to Gongbei Stone, which is not far away. The Red Gate to the Jade Emperor Peak is the closest line, so going down the mountain is the way you came. The descent took only 2.5 hours. When I was going up the mountain, I saw that many people who were coming down the mountain had difficulty walking on their legs, so I was prepared for this. I guess I'll probably do the same when I go down the mountain. Actually, it's pretty good, but my experience is that I didn't do it at the time, and I didn't start to have a seizure until the next day. When I went down the mountain, I almost trotted down, in order to be in a hurry, and I had to go to Qufu in the evening. Because the left foot was blistered when it was in Tancheng County, it was not treated, and it was a little abscess. It can cause some pain when walking, especially when you stop to rest. If not, it will be more time-saving.

Climbing Mount Tai, there are three main impressions. One is the tree on the mountain, many cypresses. It stands tall and towering, estimated to be more than 30 meters tall. Almost all the cypress trees on the mountain are stupid: why is this? The cypress trees give people a solemn and solemn impression, which seems to fit the image status of Mount Tai, is this a coincidence?!

The second is the numerous inscriptions and cultural relics protection units on the mountain. There are countless inscriptions, including historical inscriptions of emperors and modern inscriptions. Friends who like and have studied this, this piece alone, Taishan will not lose you. And I'm just looking at the superficial meaning and glyph font. Many temples and halls are cultural relics protection units, but they are all seen in a hurry.

The third is the porter, that is, the "Mountain Picker" written by Feng Jicai. I ran into it up and down the mountain. It was noted that there were both men and women porters. Men are more prominent, and the skin on the shoulders is dark copper and shiny due to long-term friction. Because he is bare-chested, it is completely different from the skin on his body, and this piece of shoulder meat appears to be developed and "fat". They are not lined with shoulders. A bare flat pole, with goods tied high at both ends. I didn't notice how they rested, and when I asked one of the masters how much it weighed, he said it weighed more than 100 pounds. Ordinary people struggle to go up the mountain empty-handed, let alone carry more than 100 catties of burden. In fact, people are forced out to practice, who is born with more than 100 catties and 18 plates? In the small shop on the way, there are fresh cucumbers, watermelons, pineapples, tomatoes, etc., all of which they carry on their shoulders. Tomatoes are 5 yuan a piece, and mineral water is 2 yuan, which is not deliberately expensive, which is very good. The impression that Shandong people give me is real. Tell the truth, seek truth from facts, and have something to show on the table. Unlike some southerners, they seem to be smart and smart, and they are shrewd and calculating, which is really unlikeable.

Jade Emperor Top

There is another one, the flower seen on Mount Tai. There are peach blossoms, acacias, wisteria, paulownia, forsythia, and a kind of small white flowers, I don't know the name, and I don't know if you ask anyone.

Also, on the way down Mount Tai, I ate pancake rolls and green onions for the first time. I kind of like to eat! it tastes good and quenches my hunger.

Climbing Mount Tai is not unheroic! Moreover, the impression of Shandong people is also good. Speaking of which, the ancestor surnamed Xu is in Tancheng County, Shandong, so it can be said that I have a heredity of northern Shandong people in my blood and bones.
