Then there is a weekend in the May Day holiday, theoretically speaking, this May Day will have a day off, and the rest are our normal holidays, which is to use the east wall to make up for the west wall.
Just for the May Day holiday, we have to work overtime continuously before and after, is it really worth it?
I personally think it's completely meaningless to make up a small long vacation with such a hard time saving, not only can I not take a reasonable rest, but I also have to suffer from overtime.
Theoretically speaking, the transferred vacation cannot be extraordinarily vacationed, this is the time we should rest, but it is just a shell of two small long holidays.
I really don't understand what the hell is the purpose of doing this, just to increase the number of consecutive working days?
Today's system of compensatory leave has been implemented since 2008, and has been in the limelight for more than ten years, the earliest compensatory leave has begun to show its edge in 1985, and China has introduced compensatory leave for decades, is it still suitable now?
Coming together like this to make up these few days of small long holidays can really make people collapse, even if the holidays are less, we have no opinion, at least we have to take a real holiday.
To be honest, this kind of holiday is squeezed out by our hard overtime, which not only lengthens the work cycle, but also directly disrupts the normal working day.

Unparalleled "economic advantage" of compensatory leave
Although we all dislike the holiday, it is indeed a good side, but it may not be good for us.
The first good thing about the holiday is the tourism in various places, the workers can only sleep at home for a single day off, and they can only come out to play a little bit on two days off, but if this holiday is extended to five or six days, the nature is different.
The army of workers has plenty of time to go out to play, and there is plenty of time to travel abroad, and many people will take advantage of the long holiday to travel to other places, which is beneficial to major tourist cities, and people just want to earn our workers' money.
In this way, the holiday is not useless, at least it can promote the tourism economy, such as the wave of "Northern Expedition" tourism of small potatoes in the south.
Such a huge flow of people has an excellent role in promoting the local tourism industry, but it is insignificant for us ordinary people, and there is no wave in the hearts of workers.
In addition, I personally feel a little contradictory about this kind of small long vacation, the holiday can obviously recuperate, but some people think that if you don't travel these days, you will be too much of a panic, and you will be very tired of traveling, and then drag your tired body back to work after the holiday.
In the final analysis, it is because we have too few holidays, and every small long vacation is a long-awaited free time, so we have the psychology of suffering if we don't go out to play.
If our vacation is enough, everyone can usually go out to play, and naturally no one will pay special attention to the small long holiday.
Even if you come out, you may not be able to play happily, everywhere you go, it's dark and crowded, who can understand what happened to the workers, it's all tears!
Don't ask for a small long holiday, but ask for a double holiday to be popular
A few of the migrant workers here have a two-day holiday, even if it is just a weekend off, the treatment is already very good, and the two-day rest is a "luxury" for ordinary people
Whenever you go out to look for work, you will find that there is almost no rest on Saturdays, and it is just a day off on weekends, and this day seems to have no other time than sleeping.
Many units seriously squeeze the personal time of employees, and there is no reasonable overtime pay for overtime work on Saturdays, in fact, this kind of "white prostitution" of employees on the working day is not legal.
However, we workers have long been adapted, rather than arguing about the rest, in fact, it is better to completely implement the two-day off system, even if there is no rest on national holidays.
We never expect extra holidays, but we have to fight for the usual double holidays, and we have to fight for overtime pay, and the boss owes us too many holidays.
Many people don't have their own lives, and they go home to sleep all day except for work, and the whole person is as sluggish as a robotic arm on the assembly line of a factory, which is not the future we want.

Whether it is a white-collar or blue-collar job, at least there is a day off, and many freelancers are almost all year round, such as migrant workers, online car-hailing drivers, and food delivery boys.
These people don't have a normal day off at all, they just wake up and work, close their eyes and sleep, and occasionally take a nap and feel guilty.
This state of life will be terrifying when imagined, and it is difficult to say that "even the donkey of the production team has to take a break"!
But these people are reluctant to rest at all, these practitioners are generally middle-aged people, these people are old and young, a large family is waiting to be fed, and the pressure of life is huge, so they have become "donkeys who pull the mill", and they keep going around the family every day.
The reason for this is not half a dime for compensatory leave and double rest, but directly related to "paid leave", and the reason why they do not take a break is because once they stop working, it means that their income has also stopped.
They can't afford to lose their salaries like this, and if they can get paid while taking a vacation, I believe they won't refuse to give themselves a vacation.
However, the vast majority of us have only seen reasonable paid leave when we are dreaming, and there is almost no Peng Jianguo in the real unit.
Many people have not enjoyed a day of paid leave even if they have worked for more than ten years, have you enjoyed this legal treatment in front of the screen? I believe that the vast majority of people do not.
The issue of compensatory leave, the issue of double rest and the issue of paid leave, these three issues should not be contradictory, because these are the legitimate rights and interests of workers, we do not ask too much, we only ask for the rights and interests that should belong to us back.
