Just this past April 22, China once again held a grand meeting, which coincided with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the mainland navy.
The importance of this meeting is self-evident, as the 19th annual meeting of the Western Pacific Naval Forum, even countries such as the United States and Russia have chosen to participate in recent years.
With 29 countries participating in the meeting, to everyone's surprise, the Philippines was the country that did not attend the meeting.
Not only that, but the Philippines refused decisively, and did not even give any reason, which inevitably made many people unbelievable.

Even the United States, which keeps saying that it wants to sanction China, can put aside its previous prejudices and come here to face China and Russia to jointly carry out this meeting.
However, the Philippines did not give any face, and did not say why it did not come to the meeting this time, although they did not say what the specific reason was, but we can see some from some recent issues in the South China Sea.
While everyone thinks that the South China Sea issue is being handled coldly, the Philippines and the United States do not seem to want to make a big deal small, but are trying their best to find various ways to provoke disputes in the South China Sea.
For example, a few days ago, the United States and the Philippines once again announced that they would hold a "shoulder to shoulder" military exercise, and the huge scale of the military participation in this exercise can be described as unprecedented for the Philippines.
The number of troops participating alone is about 16,000, and it is expected that 16 countries will participate together, and judging from the content of this military exercise, it is almost listed for the mainland.
The purpose of this military exercise is quite obvious, and each article seems to be to prepare the Philippines for a real confrontation with China in the future.
This is only one aspect, the United States has already added fuel to the fire before this, and on April 15, the Taiping Tang Army Command of the United States announced an incident to the outside world.
That is, a new "Typhon" land-based medium-range missile launch system with a range of up to 1,800 kilometers has been deployed on the local island of Luzon in the Philippines.
This is also a precedent, the first medium-range missile system deployed by the United States in this part of Asia since the end of the Cold War in the last century.
Such a range can completely threaten the mainland, making the United States a step closer to our threat, so we have to guard against it.
Having done so many things, it is naturally beneficial for the Philippines, and this series of operations not only makes the relationship between the United States and the Philippines go further, but also gives the Philippines enough confidence.
If the Philippines wants to divide the territory of the South China Sea, it is indeed impossible for them to compete with China on their own, and it seems that the previous attempt to pretend to be weak and win international sympathy does not seem to have had much effect.
At this time, the United States not only threw an olive branch to them, but also promised them various benefits, so the two countries naturally came together.
Many people speculated that the Philippines was absent from the meeting this time, and it was very likely that it was making all-out preparations for the military exercise, and it was really self-inflicted humiliation to attend such a meeting, because it had just expressed a tough attitude toward China, so naturally there was no reason to participate in this meeting.
However, what is interesting is that although the Philippines was missing from this meeting, it did not have the slightest impact, but the United States and Russia took advantage of this meeting to rarely sit at the same table.
United States, Russia
Although it is said that this is the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, anyone with a discerning eye knows that Russia is fighting against the member states led by the United States.
And it is undeniable that if it were not for the support of the United States, the Ukrainian side might have surrendered long ago.
And since the outbreak of the war, Russia has been subjected to countless economic and international sanctions, and not long ago the United States said that it would support Ukraine by more than $60 billion.
Therefore, it is impossible to say that Russia does not hate the United States, but it is undeniable that neither country intends to completely tear its skin apart.
The United States, in particular, has said more than once that it is very important for the United States and Russia to maintain a stable military relationship, so the United States will only provide economic support at home and abroad, and has not sent troops to the Russian-Ukrainian battlefield like other countries.
It seems that the United States also wants to hold a military meeting with Russia, but it seems impossible for the two sides to sit together so rashly now.
However, this meeting may be a very good opportunity to communicate with Russia, and secondly, not to make other countries think that the United States is acting on purpose.
Seeing this, have you noticed one thing, that is, whether it is Ukraine or the Philippines, they all have very similar experiences.
For example, although the United States has been supporting Ukraine, it fundamentally does not intend to fall out with Russia, but only wants to weaken the latter's viability.
Looking back, the same is true on the Philippine side, which talks about cooperating with the Philippines and even conducting military exercises, but at some point, it has to sit at the same table with China to discuss things.

Therefore, it is not difficult to see that the intention of the United States is already obvious, and it is false to have a confrontation with China and Russia head-on, and it is true to weaken the power of China and Russia, so that everything seems to be explained.
The U.S. routine has not changed, but the countries that respond to it are different.
Causal issues in the Philippines
In fact, the "cause" planted by the Philippines now is likely to get an undesirable "fruit" in the future.
However, the Philippines is betting on its own development in the next few years, and when it chooses to unite with the United States to confront China, it is good to say that it can get benefits in the end, but once it does not get any benefits in this matter.
Then not only will it offend China, but at the same time, the United States will pat its ass and leave, and will definitely not say anything good for the Philippines.
You must know that the trade between China and the Philippines will reach 40 billion US dollars in 2023, which is a big trading partner for them.
However, the actions of the Philippines in the past few days seem to be undermining the hard-won relationship between the two countries, and when the Philippines decides to do these things, it will inevitably have an impact on their domestic economy.
At that time, it is very likely that the sesame seeds will be picked up and the watermelon will be lost, so the Philippines should not only look at the immediate interests, but also look at the long-term interests.
On the contrary, for the United States, whether or not it has an impact on China this time, there is no substantial loss for them.
For the United States, the Philippines is a pawn in their containment of China, and can barely be regarded as an ally, but it will definitely not wipe their ass for them.
So when the president of the Philippines wanted the United States to invest in the Philippines and wanted $100 billion, he was ruthlessly rejected by the United States.
The reason why this meeting is very important is because this meeting is related to the development of future maritime operations and security issues, so it is really a loss for the Philippines not to participate in this meeting.
This is the 19th Western Pacific Naval Forum, which was hosted by the mainland and officially opened in Qingdao, and the theme of this time is "The Ocean of Shared Destiny".
Over the course of a few days, the participating countries will discuss together, establish rules and regulations, and complete maritime security cooperation between countries.
At this meeting, the mainland once again emphasized the mainland's attitude, that is, in the face of conflicts between all parties, the Chinese side has always adhered to the attitude of seeking friendly consultations with the countries concerned to resolve the issue.
But it will definitely fight back against those who deliberately provoke trouble, and will always defend the security and interests of the motherland.
Although it is said that it is not named, it is self-evident which country it is talking about, and the mainland has also given face, and good and bad words have also been said in front.
But if the other party really doesn't get oil and salt, then we won't let it go.

The mainland has always understood that in order to maintain peaceful coexistence among all parties, it cannot be achieved by the efforts of one country alone, and it is necessary for both sides to safeguard it together.
The mainland has been working hard to achieve this, but I also hope that other countries will understand that China does not want to take action, but that peace is not easy to come by.
