In the text "The Destruction of the Old Summer Palace", the text of Lesson 14 of the first volume of the fifth grade of primary school Chinese in the People's Education Edition reads: "Many of the scenery in the garden are modeled after the famous places in various places...... There are also many landscapes that are built according to the poetic and pictorial ideas of ancient poets". However, what scenery there are and what literati scenic spots are built on are not detailed in detail.
Therefore, in order to give full play to the role of the Old Summer Palace as a patriotic education base and spread the historical and cultural connotation of the Old Summer Palace, the 29th Youth Festival of the Old Summer Palace launched the "Youth Journey to Kyushu" research activity, leading the young people to set foot on the Kyushu scenic spot that was once known as "moving the sky and shrinking the earth in Junhuai", approaching the 40 scenes of the Old Summer Palace, and understanding the history and culture behind it.
The "Youth Expedition to Kyushu" research activity recruited young people aged 7 to 12 through the official online channels of the Old Summer Palace. The young friends came to the Old Summer Palace, changed into ancient costumes, and through role-playing and on-the-spot teaching, together with the "emperors" and "palace maids" played by the staff of the Old Summer Palace-

"In the Old Summer Palace, Kyushu Qingyan, Rugu Hanjin, Tantan Dangdang, Xinghua Spring Pavilion, Upper and Lower Tianguang, Ciyun Puhu, Bitong Academy, Natural Pictures, Carved Moon Kaiyun, the nine small islands have borrowed from each other, and become a scene alone. As the core of the Old Summer Palace, the Kyushu Scenic Area is a metaphor for the world with the layout of the nine islands ring, and it also contains the concept of governing the world of the Qing Dynasty emperors. These books and content outside the classroom are also more worthy of exploration and understanding by teenagers. Chang Hua, director of the Tourist Service Center of the Old Summer Palace Management Office, told reporters.
"We wear traditional costumes, and this special form brings us deeply into the Old Summer Palace, so that we can better appreciate the profound culture and knowledge of the Old Summer Palace, and I will also pass on the knowledge to others. On the same day, which is also the occasion of World Book Day, the "Scholarly Yuanming - World Book Day Cultural Experience Special" activity was carried out in the Haitang Academy of the Old Summer Palace, where visitors can participate in the cultural and creative market and enjoy the performance of ancient poems. In addition, painting enthusiasts are organized to sketch in the park, and a variety of activities are held to enrich the weekend.
"We have launched a special experience activity for the Book of Books World Book Day. Visitors can not only participate in performances, but also experience intangible cultural heritage courses such as bamboo weaving and incense sachets. We hope that through these activities, more friends can fall in love with reading and experience traditional Chinese culture. Qiu Jing, head of the Propaganda Section of the Management Office of the Old Summer Palace, told reporters.
