——Nanning Botanical Garden (Qingxiu Mountain) leaf garden characteristic landscape

Nanning Botanical Garden (Qingxiu Mountain) Leaf Garden is located in the east area of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, Qingxiu District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The park was built in 2019, covering an area of 260 acres, and has special attractions such as Yezihua Street, Yezihua Trail, and Yehuahuagu.
A number of "first" characteristic landscapes in China
Since its completion, Nanning Botanical Garden (Qingxiu Mountain) Leaf Garden has actively explored the new pattern of landscape application of Triangle Plum (Leaf Flower), considered the characteristics of leaf flower plants, combined with rich planting forms, combined with garden landscape elements, to create a number of "first" characteristic landscapes in China, in order to realize the artistic combination of leaf flower landscape application in space and time, and create a diverse landscape that meets different aesthetic needs.
The first domestic Mediterranean-style landscape wall community, Yezihua Street, with a total area of 12,600 square meters, will be open to visitors after its completion in April 2023. The whole flower street is a white Mediterranean style building, which combines characteristic scenery walls, European-style corridors, landscape sketches and leaf flowers and plants to form a high and low viewing platform, which has become a good place for art photography.
The first city center of the leaf flower valley has a total area of 34,632 square meters, cascading and scattered, is a flower landscape with two concentrated blooming periods a year. The main application variety of the leaf flower valley is 'water red', and the viewing period starts in March in the first half of the year and lasts for about one month, and the viewing period in the second half of the year starts from the end of October and lasts until the end of December.
The first foliage wall in China is planted with 14.5 kilometers of foliage along the periphery of the entire Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, and the planting time is more than 10 years, forming a "drunken beauty flower road". The peak bloom of the foliage wall is mainly concentrated around March every year, and there are many tourists who go to take pictures, and it has spontaneously formed a popular photo spot in the city.

The foliage flowers of the leaf garden are planted in the form of solitary plants, pair plants, row plants, cluster plants, group plants, etc., which are used in different landscape spaces such as hedges, road edges, and water body edges. The plant planting form can be divided into three types: regular, natural and mixed.
At the main entrance of the regular planting leaf garden, large foliage flower columns and flower bulbs are planted in rows and columns in the form of regular columns, forming a linear space with the theme of "welcome", creating a warm plant landscaping artistic conception that welcomes visitors from all over the world. At the key nodes in the park, the individual shapes of leaf flowers and stump bonsai are used to form the visual focus of the landscape, and the varieties such as 'silver-edged light purple', 'water red' and 'small-leaf purple' are pruned into various regular spherical, square or animal shapes to increase the interest of the landscape. At the edge of the lake, varieties such as "Snow White" and "Willow Leaf White" are planted in the form of hedges and densely planted to form regular strips, which not only blocks tourists and water bodies, plays a role in safety precautions, but also has the effect of decorating the lakeside landscape.
Naturally planted in the leaf flower trail scenic spots, with the technique of artificial landscaping, the leaf flower varieties of different sizes are planted in groups on both sides of the winding walking trail, and simulate the composition of the natural plant community, resolve the height difference of the site, and form a landscape effect of changing scenery while focusing on the display of new and excellent varieties of leaf flower resources. On the side of the leaf flower valley, multiple varieties of multiple colors such as 'water red', 'dark lemon yellow' and 'snow white' are naturally planted to create a colorful landscape effect. In the "chameleon" theme ikebana, the bottom layer is a combination of "Snow White" leaf flowers and landscape stones, and the upper layer is equipped with "chameleon", "Zhanghong cherry" and "Guanghong cherry", as well as stump-type or single-variety stump-type leaf flowers grafted by finches and other varieties, creating a multi-level configuration form and forming a shocking group effect, which not only has the lively landscape of the overall flowering period, but also presents the individual beauty of the "chameleon" and "red heart cherry blossoms" and other varieties that shine alone during the non-blooming period.

At the central node of the road at the main entrance, various varieties of leaf flowers are planted in groups, reflecting the flexibility of the spatial form, especially the modeling plants are planted in the form of clusters, and the group forms a spectacular effect.

The plants of the leaf garden are matched with buildings, pavilions, corridors, flower stands, bodies, landscape stones, landscape walls, etc., to create different styles of garden landscape types. Taking advantage of its climbing characteristics, it can be used to plant leaves and flowers in corridors, pavilions, flower stands, etc., which can be used for visitors to stop in the shade and enjoy the scenery. The tallest building of the leaf garden, the Leaf Flower Tower, combines the three-dimensional greening and the height difference of the site, and the planting of "water red" leaf flowers forms a 27-meter-high cascading flower waterfall, creating a very visually impactful landscape highlight. From a distance, the Leaf Flower Tower is also the protagonist of the entire leaf garden.

Planting leaves and flowers next to the building of the rest place in the scenic spot can not only meet the functional requirements of rest, but also form an enclosed ornamental space. The clever combination of leaf flowers and landscape wall is not only a photo check-in point, but also a peek at the distant scenery with the technique of leaking the scenery in the garden. In the central area of the leaf garden, on the sketch of the tree of life, a landscape effect full of trees and flowers is formed, and this kind of open flower pavilion can not only enjoy the flowers, but also shade and accept the flowers. A blue windmill is placed in the Valley of Leaves and Flowers, and through the combination of motor and reducer, the dynamic effect of low-cost clockwise rotation of 1 minute is realized, which increases the interest of the landscape. In addition, the shape of leaf flowers and yellow wax stones are dotted on the lawn for visitors to rest and take pictures, forming a landscape space that meets the needs of landscape and function at the same time.
