On April 22, the "International Youth Giant Panda Tracing Tour" was held in Baoxing County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, sponsored by the Western Europe and Africa Communication Center of CIPG (China Today Magazine) and the Propaganda Department of the Ya'an Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and undertaken by the Sino-French Dialogue and the People's Government of Baoxing County. More than 100 guests, including 14 international youths from 10 countries, cultural scholars at home and abroad, heads of nature education, research and tourism, cultural and creative institutions, and media reporters, participated in the event to trace the origin of the panda and renew the friendship between China and France. As the only representative of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Zhunger Banner sent members to participate and was awarded the member unit of the International Communication Alliance.
During the event, Zhang Juan, deputy editor-in-chief of CIPG's Western Europe and Africa Communication Center (China Today Magazine), together with the heads of Songyang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, Zhungerqi, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Ya'an Rong Media Center, and the Propaganda Department of Ya'an's subordinate county (district) Party Committee, jointly launched the International Communication Practice Base of CIPG's Western Europe and Africa Communication Center (China Today). The purpose is to integrate county-level communication resources, connect with the international communication needs of different districts and counties, provide assistance in business guidance and event planning, empower county-level international communication work, and help districts and counties improve their international communication capabilities by building cooperation and exchange platforms and smoothing coordination and cooperation channels.
On October 18, 2023, the Jungger Banner Communication Practice Base of the Western Europe and Africa Communication Center of CIPG (China Today Magazine) was inaugurated, which is the first practice base set up by the Western Europe and Africa Communication Center of CIPG (China Today Magazine) in China. In January 2024, at the 3rd China Cities International Communication Forum, Zhunger Banner was rated as "China's Outstanding Performance in International Communication (District) County City", and was selected into the "Analysis Report on the Overseas Influence of Chinese Cities (2023)" with the title of "Zhunger Banner: "Warm City Story" Innovative County Communication Model" as "China's City (District) Characteristic Communication Case". Qingbaijiang District of Chengdu City jointly launched the "District and County International Communication Alliance" initiated by the Reference News Newspaper.
The joining of the International Communication Alliance of the Western European and African Communication Center (China Today Magazine) of CIPG is another innovative measure to strengthen international communication capacity building since the launch of the Zhunger Banner Global Integrated Communication Center. Since last year, with the global integrated communication center as the carrier, based on the regional historical and cultural heritage, the Zhunger Banner has vigorously expanded overseas communication channels, and frequently "out of the circle" in the field of international communication, and has published and broadcast 78 articles on the official accounts of Xinhua News Agency Twitter (Twitter) and Facebook (Facebook), China Daily Beautiful China Maritime Media Platform, International Online, "Sino-French Dialogue" and other international communication platforms, showing the world a diverse image of Jungger and spreading the most beautiful voice of Zhunger.
