IHI Sullair Project
IHI Co., Ltd. is a leader in Japan's heavy industry industry, and its business scope has expanded to the fields of space development, energy, shipbuilding, marine equipment, logistics systems, industrial machinery, and machinery plants. SULLAIR is a world-renowned professional manufacturer of screw air compressors, including stationary screw air compressors, mobile screw air compressors, screw vacuum pumps, etc.
In 2004, as the first joint venture between IHI and SULLAIR in centrifugal air compressors, IHI Sullair Compression Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in Suzhou Industrial Park, mainly developing, producing and selling various industrial turbo compression systems and equipment. At present, IHI Sullair compression technology is ahead of the domestic industry in the production and full performance testing of air (nitrogen) compression equipment.
With the continuous expansion of the development map, IHI and Sullair once again "hand in hand" to cooperate on new projects, and aim at the Suzhou-Xiangxiang Cooperation Zone, where they purchased land to set up a new R&D and production base.
The project covers an area of about 49 acres, with a construction area of about 22,000 square meters and a total investment of 90 million US dollars, and will build a production base of industrial centrifugal compression systems and equipment, mainly producing and selling various large-scale centrifugal compression systems and equipment, providing equipment after-sales service, etc., and is expected to reach post-production sales of 7-800 million yuan.
Since the start of construction in May 2023, the project has progressed smoothly and rapidly. At present, the steel structure construction of the project has been basically completed, and the construction of doors and windows, curtain walls, municipal pipelines, mechanical and electrical fire protection, office decoration and other projects is underway, and the civil works are expected to be completed by the end of May this year.
