On April 24, in order to continue to further promote the procuratorial supervision of judicial and administrative compulsory isolation for drug rehabilitation, the Zhifu District People's Procuratorate and the Yantai Compulsory Isolation Drug Rehabilitation Center held a joint meeting.
The meeting gave feedback on the special procuratorial work carried out in the early stage, divided the problems found in the special procuratorial work into categories, and issued procuratorial suggestions and procurator notification letters to the Yantai Compulsory Isolation Drug Rehabilitation Center.
After the meeting, Liu Jing, a first-level prosecutor of the Fourth Procuratorate Department of the Zhifu District People's Procuratorate, was invited to give a special lecture on the rule of law for all the police officers in the drug rehabilitation center. Procurator Liu Jing started from the professional role of the procurator, combined with her rich experience in handling cases, introduced the crimes of corruption, bribery and dereliction of duty in the form of cases, profoundly analyzed the main causes and harms of job-related crimes, and enhanced the awareness of the police in the drug rehabilitation center to respect the law and discipline and standardize law enforcement through publicity.
In the next step, the Zhifu District People's Procuratorate will continue to strengthen the supervision of compulsory isolation and drug rehabilitation, actively explore a new model of administrative procuratorial work, unite the joint efforts of "procuratorial + administrative", and use "procuratorial blue" to help "drug rehabilitation blue", and gradually form a new situation of mutual promotion, interconnection and co-construction, and organic integration.
