On the morning of April 22, the Boluo County Flood Control and Drought and Wind Prevention Headquarters held a special drill (emergency drill) for flood control and disaster relief on the side of the Dongjiang River on Jiangnan Avenue in Luoyang Street, and a total of 38 emergency team members from the county forest fire fighting professional team, Luoyang Street Fire Fighting Team, and Boluo Blue Sky Rescue Team participated in the drill.
The drill simulated the sudden heavy rain for several days, and the water level of the Dongjiang River rose sharply, causing people to be trapped. During the exercise, after each team arrived at the scene with special operations vehicles, rubber boats and other materials and equipment, a forward command center was set up, which was under the unified command of the county three prevention offices (county emergency management bureau). Under the instructions of the relevant person in charge of the county's three prevention offices, each emergency team demarcated the on-site warning area in accordance with the emergency plan, reasonably divided labor, and orderly carried out a series of emergency rescue operations such as removing roadblocks and rolling stones, using dragon water-absorbing large-scale drainage and rescue vehicles to drain water, and transferring trapped people in rubber boats. Finally, the leaders of each emergency rescue team reported the emergency rescue work to the commander-in-chief of the emergency rescue site, and the rescue work was successfully completed.
After the exercise, the relevant person in charge of the county three prevention office (county emergency management bureau) made on-site comments on the emergency drill, pointing out that the drill responded quickly, acted quickly, operated in a standardized manner, and disposed of correctly, which tested the emergency response ability and equipment operation skills of the emergency team, and achieved the expected work results, but there are still deficiencies, such as proficiency in the use of equipment.
