In order to strengthen the management of rainwater pumping stations and make every effort to ensure flood safety, on April 22, the Baoshan District Flood Control Office carried out the inspection of the Yuepu (South) drainage system.
The inspection team inspected the construction and maintenance of the drainage system pump and storage tank on the spot, and communicated with the management personnel on key tasks such as daily duty, facility maintenance, and emergency response to ensure that all kinds of facilities and equipment are intact and effective, and the pumping station is running in an orderly and normal manner.
The inspection team stressed that in recent years, extreme disastrous weather has been prone to occur frequently, and the management units must firstly tighten the string of flood prevention and safety at all times, strengthen the sense of danger, and strictly implement various systems on duty; second, they must continuously strengthen the building of the team, carry out drills and training, and improve the safety awareness and ability level of front-line workers; third, they must refine and update the flood prevention emergency plan, strengthen daily inspections and inspections, and use practical actions to guard the bottom line of flood prevention safety.
The Yuepu (South) drainage system is mainly composed of 8 rainwater pumps, 3 sewage pumps, 1 initial rainwater storage tank and 13.28 kilometers of rainwater and sewage pipes, and the service area extends to Jiangyang North Road in the east, the red line on the north side of the G1501 Ring Expressway in the south, Yangsheng River in the west, and Yueluo Highway in the north, which can effectively alleviate the risk of urban waterlogging in the region and ensure the safety of urban flooding.
