On April 23, Lijing Community, Dashi Street, Panyu, cleaned up a big tree that was broken and fell to the ground by a storm in the Qunxian area, effectively ensuring the safety of surrounding residents and pedestrians.
In the early morning of the same day, some residents reported that a tree more than 10 meters high in the Qunxian area of Lijing Community was blown off and fell to the ground, which posed a serious safety hazard. After receiving the report, the staff of Lijing community rushed to the scene as soon as possible, evacuated the passing people and vehicles in an orderly manner, and reported to the relevant departments at the same time.
A fallen tree
The greening team of the Dashijie Urban Management Office quickly organized staff to arrive at the site to conduct risk research and assessment and project evaluation, and finally determined the felling plan. The staff of the greening team carefully sawed the fallen trees into small pieces with tools in hand, and then carried the branches and trunks to the designated location. After more than an hour of emergency work, the fallen trees were cleared and the road surface returned to normal traffic.
Perform a cleanup
In order to prevent accidents, a cordon has been set up at the scene, safety warnings have been made, and vehicles and pedestrians are reminded to detour. The greening team also pruned the large trees on both sides of the road to prevent similar accidents from happening again.
