"We are a hometown rap group, a native of the old Guancheng, and we will tell you about our Shanhaiguan with Beijing rhyme drums and allegro books. 77-year-old Liu Bao first reported his home to the audience, the old man's voice was loud, standing on the stage chic and funny, he was the leading actor of this quyi rap group, and the musicians Zhao Guobi and Zhao Sen were one or two years older than him, and they were also full of energy and professionalism.

In 2006, these old friends set up the "Lao Xiangyin Rap Troupe", and have always insisted on performing for tourists and ordinary people, participating in public welfare volunteer services with their quyi expertise, and being active in various scenic spots, enterprises, communities and villages in their hometowns.
"The Great Wall is like a dragon, the dragon head lies down in Bohai Bay, the Great Wall is connected to the sea and the sky, and Chenghai Tower is the highest point of the old dragon's head......" At the scene, Liu Bao's Allegro book "Ancient City Range Rover" was beautiful, with the long and short board in his hands flying, and people applauded again and again.

This work was written by Liu Bao for half a year to promote the tourism resources of his hometown, and the lyrics and songs include all the main attractions of Shanhaiguan. Every year, there are large-scale tourism events in the local area, and they are often invited to perform this show, and the effect is very good.
"We have a red history, a Great Wall culture and a wealth of intangible cultural heritage, and we are very proud when we sing them to people. In recent years, Liu Bao and his members have successively created opera programs such as "Ancient City Food" and "Intangible Cultural Heritage Food from Generation to Generation" to promote the humanistic characteristics of their hometown.
In addition, they often use this popular form of commenting and rapping to publicize national guidelines and policies, sing about new people, new things, and new atmosphere emerging in the ancient city, and assist communities, units, and enterprises to carry out literary and artistic propaganda activities.

"Integrating the content of the preaching into singing and laughing, this form is willing to watch and listen, and it can capture people's hearts more. Liu Bao said. After becoming grassroots preachers, they created many rap works such as "Steady and Far-reaching and New Journey" and "Realizing the Chinese Dream Together" from the perspective of ordinary people.
For creation, Liu Bao has his own opinions, "You can't fake the big air, it's boring to talk about it, you have to write the earthy taste that the people like." In order to collect more materials, he likes to chat with people and talk about the real changes around him, and he often comes to inspiration, and writes works that are very popular with people, such as "The Old Couple" and "Don't Learn from the Driver", and he will always be invited to sing these shows again during the performance.
As a member of the volunteer team, the "Lao Xiangyin Rap Troupe" also wrote more than 20 original works for front-line volunteers and workers, such as "Volunteer Praise" and "Sanitation Worker Praise", which toured the countryside and communities, singing with true feelings and encouraging people's enthusiasm for participating in volunteer services.

Liu Bao's grandson Liu Yang has been exposed to it since he was a child, and he often performs with the rap troupe. In recent years, Liu Yang has taken the rap group into the live broadcast room of the New Era Civilization Practice Station in the community, performing with the help of new media and cloud live broadcast, giving full play to the power of young volunteers, turning the "old inheritance" into "new tricks" and serving more people.
Near noon, a sonorous drum beat ended, and the "Hometown Rap Troupe" completed another public welfare performance. The applause of the audience is the harvest, and the next performance is also being planned, "The best tourist season is coming, we have been ready to serve tourists, and the old brother is on call!" Liu Bao said that it is necessary to continue to sing new things in the ancient city into people's hearts, and the "hometown sound" is still on the way.
