Early last Sunday morning, there was a "crazy" scene on the streets of Boston's Back Bay District.

Boston police said they received about 30 calls that day about the drag racing incident. One of the citizens who called the police told police that about 40 people were yelling in Dartmouth and around Marlborough streets, and that 15 cars were driving in the opposite direction on the road.

At around 2:13 a.m., police received a radio call to investigate what happened. Several police officers arrived at the scene, but due to the large number of vehicles at the scene of the incident, it was impossible to reach the intersection, and eventually the police had to walk to the area where these people gathered.

Police reported that there were multiple vehicles on the one-way street driving in the wrong direction, and their vehicles were burning tires or spinning in place, which filled the air with very thick white smoke and reduced visibility. This happened at least three different intersections near Marlborough Street.

The police repeatedly asked the men to evacuate the area, but they refused. As the police tried to clear the road, the group began throwing glass bottles and incendiary objects at the police. Throughout the process, there were also people with professional cameras to record the activities of these illegal motor vehicles.

According to the police, a total of 41 vehicles were involved in a series of dangerous activities such as drag racing. The license plate numbers for these vehicles are from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Illinois. On the same day, police also issued five parking violation notices for vehicles parked side-by-side on the Commonwealth Ave.

People who live in the neighborhood have witnessed it all happening. Residents said they were woken up in the middle of the night by frenzied behavior on the streets. The smell of burning rubber, loud screams, and noisy conditions were unbearable.

Many residents in the neighborhood said the situation lasted for 20 minutes, and said the chaos at the scene made it difficult for the police to get to the scene. Although the police tried to disperse the people and stop their madness, they were less effective.
