Recently, the Chengguan Branch of the Lanzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau inspected and found that some people in the jurisdiction carried out prostitution activities through online prostitution, and the police immediately followed up the investigation, and through the sorting and sorting, they grasped conclusive evidence, and quickly dug up a gang headed by criminal suspects Pei and Meng, who relied on online prostitution in apartments and homestays from time to time.
In August 2023, the criminal suspect Meng has been staying in a homestay in Chengguan District for a long time in the name of Lanzhou tourism, and Pei is responsible for the daily management of the homestay, and the two gradually became familiar with each other and developed into a couple. While interacting with Pei, Meng carried Pei behind his back to do his "old business" by soliciting prostitutes through the Internet. After Pei discovered his girlfriend's "business", he not only continued to maintain a relationship with him, but also provided free accommodation for Meng, asking the partnership to make the special service "business" bigger and stronger, and both parties took what they needed.
In order to make quick money, Meng also gathered her "good sisters" to the homestay, and posted pornographic service information on the Internet through keyboard players Peng, Wang, and Li to attract guests to take the bait, and then introduced them to prostitutes through WeChat and QQ.
After grasping the pattern of the criminal gang, the Chengguan Public Security Bureau organized more than 30 police forces to cooperate with each other and coordinate with each other, and decisively launched an arrest to arrest 16 suspects headed by Pei and Meng, including 5 main suspects of the gang and 11 prostitutes, and seized a number of items such as mobile phones and computers for soliciting prostitutes on the spot.
At present, 5 people have been criminally detained and 11 people have been administratively punished in this case.
