In order to welcome the 29th "World Book Day", excavate and interpret the connotation and practical significance of Chinese classic culture, guide readers to be familiar with and get close to the culture of Northern Xinjiang, and deeply understand the essence of excellent traditional Chinese culture, on April 23, the 2024 National Reading and Poetry Recitation Activity of Saihan District was held at the Jindi Campus of the 39th Middle School of Hohhot.
At the event, 15 contestants from Hohhot No. 39 Middle School recited classic works such as "Youth", "I Love You China" and "Man Jianghong" with affectionate words, infectious language, and subdued tones. The judges scored the teams from the aspects of language, feelings, manners and overall effect. The contestants' bold, affectionate, subdued, sonorous and powerful recitations showed excellent artistic appeal and stage performance, and won repeated praise and warm applause from the audience.
As one of the series of activities of World Book Day, this reading competition has created a good atmosphere for creating a scholarly Saihan. "Reading makes people progress, and reading makes people more enjoyable. I have gained a lot from participating in this activity, and I hope that through this activity, more students can participate, develop good reading habits, and let the fragrance of books fill the whole campus.
