IT Home reported on April 24 that Lamborghini released an electrified version of its best-selling SUV tonight - Urus SE. The new car is equipped with a 25kWh battery that produces a total output of 588kW / 789hp horsepower, and has an all-electric range of 60 km.

The starting price of the new car is 258,000 US dollars (IT Home note: currently about 1.871 million yuan), which does not affect the interested IT Home friends to set it as a wallpaper for their mobile phones or computers. Lamborghini CTO Rouven Mohr told The Verge that the quality of the new car's drive system is more convincing than the data or price.

For the first time, the new car transforms a purely mechanical, torque-based all-wheel drive system into a more agile and differentiated all-wheel drive system, including an electric torque vectoring system between the two axles, an electronic rear differential, and more, and Rouven Mohr is confident in the performance of the Urus SE, describing it as "far more fun to drive than the current Urus".

The new model is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an electric motor producing 456kW / 611hp and 800Nm of torque, while an electric motor produces 141kW / 189hp and 483Nm of torque. With a 0-100 acceleration time of 3.4 seconds, a 0-200 km/h time of 11.4 seconds, and a top speed of 312 km/h, it is the "most powerful" Urus ever.

Not long ago, in late March, Lamborghini announced that it had renewed its logo for the first time in more than 20 years, aiming to better interpret the brand's values of "bravery, surprise and authenticity" through a new design. The Urus plug-in hybrid is the first model to feature a new logo.

According to Lamborghini's "Direzione Cor Tauri" business strategy, Lamborghini will complete the electrification of its models by the end of 2024 and plans to launch its first all-electric model based on the much-anticipated Lanzador crossover concept around 2028.
