Handshakes, hugs, military salutes, clinking glasses, singing, tears, and the moving scenes of iron-blooded comrades-in-arms and brothers reunited across 50 years were re-enacted live in Shuyang City, Jiangsu Province.
On April 16~19, 2024, Hu Baolin, a comrade-in-arms in Beijing and Zhou Fengjun, a comrade-in-arms in Shuyang, took the lead in organizing some comrades-in-arms in 1975 to hold a commemorative party for the 50th anniversary of enlistment in Shuyang, Jiangsu, to continue to write the relationship of iron soldiers.

Participating in the fraternity were comrades-in-arms from the division's warehouse, logistics department, divisional hospital and the 42nd regiment. 10 comrades-in-arms and 3 military wives in Beijing worked tirelessly and drove more than 800 kilometers to Shuyang to participate in the friendship party. Shuyang's 16 comrades-in-arms and 4 military wives participated in the party, with a total of 26 comrades-in-arms and 7 military wives, a total of 33 people.
Zhang Xin, former chairman of the Shuyang County CPPCC and veteran comrade-in-arms of the 42nd Regiment, heard that the comrades-in-arms of the former Ninth Division Warehouse in Beijing came to Shuyang to have a friendship with the comrades-in-arms in the warehouse behind the division, and could not participate due to special family matters, so he specially entrusted the comrades-in-arms of the 42nd Regiment, the secretary general of the Friendship Association, and the captain of the county traffic police brigade Yu Zhenjun to participate in the gathering and receive the old comrades-in-arms in his personal name. Wang Jianya, comrade-in-arms of the Ninth Division Hospital and director of the Suqian City Civil Air Defense Bureau, made a special trip from Suqian to Shuyang to attend the gathering, Chen Zhaode, a comrade-in-arms of the warehouse, asked his son to drive from Huaiyin to attend the gathering, and Chen Jun, a comrade-in-arms of the Logistics Department who lived in Nanjing, made a special trip to Shuyang to attend the gathering, and his comrades-in-arms Zhang Fujun and Zhang Jun of the Logistics Department were traveling in Lu'an, Anhui Province after attending the Wuhan Friendship Meeting of the Logistics Department's reporting group.

Warehouse comrades-in-arms Zhou Fengjun, Li Jianguo, Cheng Shirong, Li Fengcai, Tang Maoqiu and other comrades-in-arms have successively made the east, and warmly entertained all the comrades-in-arms and military wives of the association, reflecting the traditional virtues and excellent quality of Shuyang comrades-in-arms' hospitality. All comrades-in-arms and military wives visited tourist attractions such as "Xiang Wang's hometown", "Yu Ji's hometown" and "Flower and Tree World".
The gathering was presided over by Liu Laiqing, president of the Tiejiu Division of the Beijing Comrades-in-Arms Association and secretary-general of the Mentougou District Comrades-in-Arms Association. The comrades-in-arms rushed to exchange speeches, open their hearts, and exchange their experiences and feelings. Ren Jiming, a comrade-in-arms in Beijing and the former secretary of the party group and chairman of the Mentougou District Federation of Trade Unions, said with emotion: "Time flies, and in the flick of a finger in 50 years, the handsome young man who was full of vigor has become a white-haired old man about 70 years old in the blink of an eye. The comrades-in-arms reunited, the heart was surging, recalling the military career, everything in the past seemed to be just yesterday, although we were old, we still felt very young. Shuyang comrade-in-arms Tang Maoqiu changed the welcome speech to lyrics and sang it at the party, ushered in bursts of applause. The sisters-in-arms of comrades-in-arms sang the song of "Railway Soldiers and Soldiers are Determined in the Quartet" to express their feelings and inspire their fighting spirit. Zhao Qingyin, the wife of Shuyang's comrade-in-arms Li Fengcai, also danced, pushing the party to a climax.
Shi Liangxun, a comrade-in-arms of Beijing Mentougou and the former deputy inspector of the Beijing West Railway Station District Management Committee, was moved and wrote a poem "Comradeship":

Zhang Fujun, a comrade-in-arms in Beijing, the former executive deputy secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Mentougou District Party Committee, the current vice chairman of the Mentougou District Calligraphers Association, and the president of the Mentougou District CPPCC Calligraphy and Painting Institute, also wrote a poem "The Soul of the Army Forever Cast a Hundred Years of Music":

After the end of the gathering, the logistics department reported that Zhang Jun left a message in the WeChat group: "In the morning, I sent off the Tianjin guests and went back to Suqian's house to sleep. From April 9th to the present, from the Yellow Crane Tower to Xiang Yuyuji's hometown, I got drunk with my old comrades-in-arms, chatted and remembered together, talked about life with my heart and lungs, and painted the dusk with anticipation. Those who can sing are full of poetry and sincerity; those who can write are splashed with ink and keep them as a susmoir; those who can sing are led to singing, and the old heart is not old, and the will is stronger. We have a five-year covenant and a ten-year goal, and since then, we have ushered in a new starting point in life, for the times for the family and for ourselves, we will redouble our efforts, be optimistic, keep fit, do what we want, and live every day.
