In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches on forest fire prevention and extinguishing, further test the emergency response ability and comprehensive coordination ability of the forest and grassland fire prevention and extinguishing emergency command system in Chengdong District, and improve the feasibility and operability of the forest and grassland fire emergency plan, on April 23, Chengdong District held a tabletop deduction of the 2024 forest fire emergency drill, including fire analysis and judgment, emergency force scheduling, command system operation and other subjects. Focusing on the characteristics and laws of forest fires, we will deduce how to establish and improve various working mechanisms for emergency drills and carry out regular emergency drills in a solid manner. The participating units focused on the "whole process, all elements, and all processes" deduction around the deployment of forces, disposal procedures, job responsibilities, tactical use, coordination and cooperation, etc.
The development of this desktop deduction work has further exercised the unity and cooperation ability of the emergency response team, and has played a demonstrative and leading role in familiarizing, proficient and mastering the forest fire emergency response procedures for the member units of the forest and grassland fire special command in the region, clarifying their respective emergency work responsibilities and the basic steps of forest fire command and rescue, and further consolidating the basic work of forest and grassland fire prevention and rescue and emergency response in our region.
In the next step, on the basis of the good results achieved in this desktop exercise, the Forest Prevention Office of Chengdong District will closely focus on the forest and grassland fire prevention and extinguishing plan and the recent key work of forest fire prevention and extinguishing, actively carry out actual combat drills, strengthen the emergency response capacity of forest fires, continuously strengthen the disposal capacity, and ensure that the forest prevention ability is continuously enhanced.
