In this regard, we also conducted a series of tests on the performance and gaming of the phone.
During the test, we turned off the phone's memory expansion function and turned on the phone's performance mode (Monster mode).
- Performance testing
The first is the Antutu comprehensive performance test, with a total score of nearly 1.57 million, compared with the Dimensity 8200 of the previous generation iQOO Z8, the performance has skyrocketed by more than 60%.

In the flash test, the random read rate exceeded 4000MB/s, and the random write rate exceeded 3000MB/s, which is a proper UFS4.0 level.
- Gaming testing
This time, for the first time, iQOO has equipped the Z series with dual chips, with the independent display chip Turbo, and the Z9 Turbo can be used
This is enough to further enhance the phone's high-frame gaming experience, increase its speed in rendering, and reduce the strain on the phone's SoC.
For the game test, we selected three representative mainstream mobile game masterpieces, namely "Honor of Kings", "Genshin Impact" and "Honkai: Star Dome Railway", in an indoor office environment of 26 degrees Celsius, the frame rate was prioritized for testing, and the frame rate, power consumption, energy efficiency ratio and temperature performance of the body were recorded during the game.
1. Glory of kings
Honor of Kings mobile game, under the extreme image quality + extremely high frame rate, after a round of 5V5 team battle, ran out of 119.51FPS, and almost no frame drop during the game.
In terms of power consumption, the average is about 3.8W, and the energy efficiency ratio is very good.
In terms of temperature, the front of the fuselage is up to 38.3 degrees Celsius, and the back is up to 36.8 degrees Celsius, and only a trace of heat can be felt during the game, which does not affect the gaming experience at all.
With the help of iQOO Z series' unique independent graphics chip Turbo, the power consumption of Honor of Kings can be optimized, and the frame rate of 120FPS is half of the frame rate through the independent graphics chip Turbo, reducing the power consumption of the Soc.
2. Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact Mobile Game is in the highest image quality +60 frame mode, after 10 minutes in the Sumeru City running map test, the average frame rate is stable at 60.71FPS, there are small frame drops during the game, but the overall game performance is very smooth, almost no sense of stuttering.

3. Honkai: Star Dome Railway
Finally, we tested the so-called "hardware killer" Honkai: Star Dome Railway high-load mobile game, running the map in the Star Rubbing Sea Hub for 10 minutes, and the game's screen clock fluctuated between 45FPS~60FPS.

4. Image: 50 million OIS dual camera night scene has a very high production rate
iQOO Z9 Turbo has a dual-camera module, of which the main camera uses a 50-million-pixel Sony light metaphor LYT600 sensor, a 1/1.953-inch image sensor, and supports OIS optical image stabilization.
The other camera is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

In daytime scenes, the iQOO Z9 Turbo's images are highly saturated, with pleasing colors at first glance, and images shot with 2x zoom remain crisp and blur-free, even in backlit conditions, and although detail in the shadows may be slightly lacking, the highlights are generally very positive, ensuring good visuals in any environment.
- Night view
In night scenes, noise is further reduced in low-light images with long exposures, and the iQOO Z9 Turbo does a good job of controlling highlights and maintaining sharpness when zooming in to see the details of the shot.
- Ultra-wide-angle
The 8-million-pixel ultra-wide-angle lens also provides distortion correction by default, so that it can capture a more natural and accurate angle of view, avoiding the common edge distortion problems of wide-angle lenses, and making the captured picture clearer and more realistic.
5. Charging and battery life: less than 40 minutes of full blood and nearly 11 hours of battery life
The iQOO Z9 Turbo debuts a 6000mAh ultra-thin blue ocean battery, which uses super graphite battery technology, allowing the phone to gain super battery life in a body of less than 200g, and also supports 80W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging capabilities.

- Charging test
In the screen-off test, the battery is charged from 1% to 44% in 10 minutes, the battery is more than half in 20 minutes, reaching 36%, the battery is charged to 81% in half an hour, and it takes 39 minutes to fully charge.
For a mobile phone with a large capacity of 6000mAh, this charging capacity can be regarded as very good.
- Endurance test
For the endurance test, we use a professional endurance test tool - the battery dog produced by Fast Technology for testing.
In terms of test items, the default power test will be carried out to 20%, and at the same time, all test items including CPU high voltage, CPU multi-threading, AI recognition, picture browsing, video playback and web browsing will be checked, and the real load will be restored to the greatest extent by simulating user usage scenarios, infinitely close to the real power consumption.
During the test, in order to keep the environmental variables of all models tested in order to maintain the same and ensure the accuracy of the test results, Battery Dog automatically adjusted the brightness of the screen to 50%, and turned off the auto-brightness and adjusted the volume to 30%.
After the battery dog continuous test, the power consumption from 100% to 20% took 9 hours and 33 minutes.
After conversion, the iQOO Z9 Turbo can reach about 11 hours of battery life on a full charge, which is relatively rare in mobile phones that focus on performance, and it is one of the few in the same price segment.
