Before the Great War of the Gods, Fuxian Zhenren, as a personal disciple of Yuan Shi Tianzun, ranked eighth among the twelve golden immortals of Kunlun. He practiced in the White Crane Cave of Jiugong Mountain, and was known for his profound Taoism and noble character. His magic power is boundless, his magical powers are vast, and he is a virtuous person, who is deeply admired by everyone.
However, the outbreak of the War of the Gods changed the trajectory of his life. He responded to the call of his master Yuan Shi Tianzun and took his only apprentice Mu Za down the mountain to assist his junior brother Jiang Ziya in fighting against the Shang Dynasty. In this battle, Fuxian Zhenren showed extraordinary strength and wisdom, he broke the ice array, killed and suppressed Yuan Tianjun, and made great achievements for the victory of the teaching.
However, surprisingly, after the end of the Great War of the Gods, Fuxian Zhenren did not return to Kunlun Mountain to continue his spiritual life, but chose to join Manjushri Guangfa Tianzun and Cihang Daoren and jump ship to the Western Sect. This decision caused an uproar in the Taoist circles at the time, but Fugen Zhenren firmly embarked on this new path.
So, why did Fuxian Zhenren leave Kunlun Mountain and go to the West to teach? There are deep-seated reasons behind this. First of all, Fuxian Zhenren cultivated the Dharma Body of Eight Heads and Six Arms in the Battle of the Gods, an achievement that made his position in the Taoist world more stable. However, he was not satisfied with this, but continued to pursue a higher realm. He believed that the teachings of Western religion were more satisfying to his pursuit of spiritual practice and enlightenment.
Secondly, Fugen Zhenren also saw the potential and future of Western teaching. At that time, although Western religion was not as famous as Taoism and Buddhism, its teachings were unique, its practice was novel, and it had broad prospects for development. Fugen Zhenren believes that joining the Western Sect can expose him to more spiritual resources and opportunities, so that he can improve his path and realm faster.
So, Fuxian Zhenren resolutely left Kunlun Mountain and went to the West to teach. There, he was named the Bodhisattva and became the right and right family member of Shakyamuni Buddha, responsible for assisting Shakyamuni Buddha in preaching the scriptures. Together with his brother Manjushri, he is one of the three sages of Huayan and enjoys a high status in the Buddhist world.
And the origin of the white elephant he rode is also quite legendary. That white elephant was originally the Spirit Tooth Immortal, one of the Seven Immortals of the Tongtian Sect Master's Attendant. In the Ten Thousand Immortals Array, Fuxian Zhenren used the Tai Chi Talisman to seal through the formation of the Spirit Tooth Immortal and subdued it as a mount. Since then, this white elephant has become a loyal partner of Fuxian Zhenren and has accompanied him through a long road of cultivation.
The story of Fuxian Zhenren is widely circulated among the people, and his legendary experience has become a good story in people's mouths.
