Gao Jie, born in Tianjin in 1955, graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1977, returned to the Chinese Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1982 for one year, and graduated from the Chinese Academy of Arts in 2005. The Graduate School of Fine Arts Research Class of Master's Program and Senior Visiting Scholar Class of Chinese Painting of the Chinese Academy of Arts. He is currently a professor of the Department of Chinese Painting of Tianjin Academy of Arts and Crafts and a national first-class artist. In 2012, he was invited to create a large-scale landscape painting for Zhongnanhai. He won the gold medal in the National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the army, the title of a generation of famous artists of the Chinese and foreign celebrity research association in 2020, the Golden Horse Award for International Artists for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in 2021, the Inheritance Centennial Art Artist Award in 2021, the Chinese Meritorious Person in 2021, and the honorary title of "People's Artist" issued by the China-America Association and the China Calligraphy Association in 2021.
