At present, Shen 18 has been operated to the launch area, and the 3 astronauts have already been determined, and everything is ready to wait for the opportunity to take off, it is worth mentioning that this is the first "manned mission" launch in 2024, and the astronauts' space mission is also relatively novel.
So who are the astronauts, what preparations do they need to make before the flight, and what is the mission this time?
God 18 is ready, God 19 is on standby
Presumably, there will be many people who are confused, Shenzhou 18 has not yet soared, why has Shenzhou 19 already entered the state of standby? In fact, to put it bluntly, there are two words: "safety".
In order to ensure that there are no injuries to personnel and that the mission is successfully completed, the mainland can be said to have made sufficient preparations in the space industry, including the backup spacecraft for "rescue," which is also to avoid a 1 in 10 million emergency situation.
As early as May last year, Shen 18 had successfully completed the overall test before accepting the factory, and after many safety guarantees, it was operated to the launch center on April 17.
It is worth mentioning that before it was put into operation, it already belonged to the "three-in-one", and the escape tower and the rocket were docked, and then they were continuously tested.
But it is also a problem for such a large spacecraft to operate successfully, which has to be extra careful, and even the days will be carefully selected, only to see that the wind is suitable that day, the temperature is suitable, and it is smoothly transported to the launch tower using a seamless orbit of 1.5 kilometers, everything is very smooth, and it can be called the right time and place.
This is followed by a series of simulation training, which is carried out in accordance with the official launch process, and each step of the program detection, pre-flight preparation, ignition time, and separation of the ship and arrow after a successful flight must be simulated.
On the 23rd, Shen 18 ushered in the last overall inspection and simulation, and now it is only waiting for the time to ignite and take off. What is worrying is that the internal conditions are all ready, but the external weather is unavoidable, and the launch site will be the most severe sandstorm season of the year throughout April, which will definitely have a lot of impact.
However, for the scientific researchers of the mainland aerospace, this must be in mind, and they will do a good job of preventing wind and sand for this flight.
This also means that there is no doubt that the successful launch of Shen XVIII will also be set at 8:49 on the 25th of this month, and we will also usher in the "double spacecraft" phenomenon after the launch, that is, the Shen XVIII "shift" Shen XVII.
Everyone knows that the personnel of the Divine Seventeen are Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie, and Jiang Xinlin, and this time the mission is successfully completed and the Divine Eighteen will be handed over, so who are the highly anticipated Divine Eighteen personnel?
Selection of astronauts
Looking at the nearly 20 astronauts on the mainland, all of them are great contributors to the motherland's aerospace industry, and only after seeing the unexpected situation experienced by Shen 17 can we know how "fearless they are in danger."
Just like during the time in space, some space junk hit some positions of the continental space station, which directly led to damage, and in order to repair it in time, the station personnel had to choose to go out of the capsule to repair.
Of course, this is just a few small frictions, and there must have been many difficulties on the way, but they were able to complete their tasks one by one, regardless of their safety, and it is enough to see that their mission has been completed very successfully from the announcement of God XVII to return to Earth at the end of April.
On the way back to the motherland, there is still one last important task, that is, to complete the handover with the Shen 18, according to Yang Liwei and the China Manned Space Office, the Shen 18 and Shen 19 personnel have been determined, and more targeted training has been carried out.
In addition to the professional skills that should be possessed in coping with the situation, there is also the training of how to respond quickly in the face of "emergency" situations, which can be studied from the situation encountered by God XVII.
But in order to do a good job of confidentiality, the eighteen personnel of the gods have only recently been announced, and it is worth mentioning that the three post-80s, all men and women, are Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu, of which Ye Guangfu is the commander.
Ye Guangfu must know that he has also done missions before, and in 2021, he will be a member of Shenzhou 13, and he will complete a full six months of flight in space with Wang Yaping and Zhai Zhigang, and successfully complete the mission.
It is also expected that they were selected as the commander this time, but looking at the other two, Li Cong and Li Guangsu, as the third batch of astronauts on the mainland, are performing space missions for the first time, but their professional ability is worthy of recognition.
I believe that with the three of them working together, the mission will be successfully completed, but then again, this space mission is a bit special and quite interesting.
The manned mission of God XVIII
In this space journey, Shen-18 will complete a number of "first" missions during its orbital journey, including six missions to exit the cargo airlock with payload, and two to three more out-of-cabin activities.
Aside from these ordinary and important tasks, the most important task is that the Shen 18 crew will realize the "fish farming" in space, some people may think that there is nothing difficult about fish farming, but after all, the conditions of the earth and space are different.
According to the Shen-18 flight press conference, the crew will bring the equipment required for the experiment and samples of related species to space, among which zebrafish and goldfish algae will be the main research objects, and the first aquatic ecology project will be studied in outer space.
This mission is worth looking forward to, and if it succeeds, it will certainly be a major breakthrough in the cultivation of vertebrates in outer space, and the mainland's aerospace industry will take another big step forward.
According to the original plan, God XVIII will return to Earth in late October, and the six-month trip means that we will be able to see them successfully return after the National Day, which is something to look forward to.
As for the personnel of the Divine Nineteen, although they have announced that the personnel have been confirmed, they have done confidential work and have not been informed to the public, but no matter who they are, they already have enough professional ability and full confidence and are ready to go.
