Recently, the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva was held in Geneva, Switzerland. The "CSCEC Photonic Self-cleaning Radiation Refrigeration Coating" independently developed by CSCEC Southwest Institute participated in the International Invention Exhibition and won the silver medal.
Founded in 1973 and jointly organized by the Swiss Federal Government, the Canton of Geneva, the Geneva Municipal Government and the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions is one of the world's three major invention exhibitions (Geneva Inventions, Pittsburgh Inventions, and Nuremberg Inventions), and is also one of the world's longest and largest invention exhibitions. This exhibition attracted more than 1,000 invention projects from all over the world.
The self-cleaning radiation refrigeration coating of CSCEC Photonics in this exhibition is an innovative energy-saving and environmentally friendly radiant refrigeration new material independently developed by CSCEC Southwest Institute. The product does not need to consume electricity and refrigerant, and can achieve the radiative cooling effect of the surface temperature of the refrigeration body is always lower than the ambient air temperature day and night, especially during the noon period when the sun is directly exposed. At the same time, the product combines the surface micro-nano structure with suitable roughness and extremely low surface free energy, and has a self-cleaning effect, which fully guarantees the durability and cooling effect of the product and reduces maintenance costs. In addition, the product also overcomes the contradiction between improving the surface solar reflectance and color richness, and pioneers a variety of colors such as red, yellow, blue and gray refrigeration coatings, breaking the limitations of mostly single white in the previous passive refrigeration technology, and meeting the aesthetic needs of application scenarios.
The product is suitable for many high refrigeration energy consumption application scenarios such as communications, electric power, grain and oil, petrochemical, construction, etc., and can significantly reduce refrigeration energy consumption (in no scenario, it can save 20-80% of air conditioning power consumption). At present, the product has been applied in more than 100 projects in 17 provinces and cities across the country, and has good performance in various climatic zones.
