At around 21:30 on April 22, 2024, the emergency command center of Longtang Town received a call for help from the masses, and a Ms. Lai, who rented a house in Xinwei Village, went up the mountain to dig bamboo shoots at 13 o'clock that day and has not returned home.

The party committee and government of Longtang Town attached great importance to it, and quickly contacted all parties to jointly study and judge the lost routes of the masses, formulate search and rescue plans, and form a search and rescue force as soon as possible. At 22 o'clock, more than 50 people, including town and village cadres, young villagers in the village, Longtang Police Station, and members of the fire brigade of the High-tech Zone, arrived at the scene of the incident to carry out search and rescue.

The search and rescue team members walked on the muddy mountain road in the general direction of the lost person, and found umbrellas, props and bamboo shoots near the top of the mountain, which were confirmed by her husband to be the tools that Ms. Lai brought up the mountain to dig bamboo shoots.

Late at night, it was very difficult to search and rescue in the densely vegetated mountain forest, and it had just rained before, which made the originally steep mountain road slippery, and the search and rescue personnel were almost unable to walk, but in order to find Lai Nu as soon as possible, they did not stop, did not miss a possible route, and shouted while searching. After a night of searching, the missing villagers have not been found.

In the early morning of the 23rd, Longtang Town once again dispatched additional search and rescue forces, and sent two emergency response teams, more than 60 retired soldiers, village cadres and villagers organized by the Armed Forces Department to enter the mountains in accordance with the search and rescue plan and carry out a carpet search of the entire mountain forest again. After the unremitting efforts of all the search and rescue personnel, at about 10:30 on the 23rd, Ms. Lai was finally found near the stone field of Yiner Village on the other side of the mountain.

Successfully found Ms. Lai, a lost person, and sent her home.

"Yesterday afternoon, I wanted to take advantage of the sunny weather to quickly go up the mountain to dig some fresh bamboo shoots, but I didn't expect to 'lose my way', I forgot to bring my mobile phone, I can't contact, fortunately you found me, thank you, thank you!" Ms. Lai said to the search and rescue personnel.

After confirming that Ms. Lai was in good health, search and rescue personnel escorted her home safely.
