In order to stimulate children's interest in reading, cultivate good reading habits, and let children enjoy the joy of reading, on April 22, the Women's Federation of Baoshan Community United District launched a parent-child activity on World Book Day with the theme of "Thousands of Families with the Fragrance of Books and Building the Dream of a Strong Country".

During the activity, parents and children read and shared wonderful stories such as national unity, and everyone actively interacted with each other to share their insights and experiences in reading. The event also set up a DIY handmade bookmark making session. Under the guidance of their parents, the children carefully selected materials, gave full play to their unique imagination, carefully designed patterns, and made exquisite bookmarks with their own style, which not only exercised the children's hands-on ability and creativity, but also added to the fun of reading.

Through this reading activity, not only let the children experience the joy of reading, but also provide a platform for parents to grow together with their children. In the next step, the Baoshan community will continue to carry out various forms of reading activities, call on families of all ethnic groups to participate in parent-child reading, spread good family style and scientific teaching knowledge, promote exchanges and integration of people of all ethnic groups, and create a strong atmosphere of scholarly families.
