On the morning of April 24, the Chao News reporter learned from the China Manned Space Engineering Office that the general command of the mission in the space station application and development stage decided that the astronaut crew of the Shenzhou 18 manned mission was composed of three astronauts, Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu, with Ye Guangfu as the commander. The crew includes 1 second batch of astronauts and 2 third batch of astronauts, all of whom are "post-80s".

Today is the ninth "China Space Day", and 54 years ago today, China's first artificial earth satellite, "Dongfanghong-1", was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. At 11 o'clock in the morning, the three astronauts will meet with Chinese and foreign media reporters at this important birthplace of China's aerospace industry and the spirit of "two bombs and one satellite."

Ye Guangfu, who served as the commander this time, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, in September 1980 and enlisted in August 1998. He used to be the director of air combat shooting in the combat training unit of the headquarters of a certain regiment of a division of the Air Force, and flew 1,100 hours safely, and was rated as a first-class pilot of the Air Force. In May 2010, he was selected as the second batch of astronauts in the mainland. In December 2019, he was selected as the crew of the Shenzhou 13 mission.
