The 2024 "Hua Spring" International Exchange Festival, a multicultural symphony under the cherry blossoms

The spring breeze has a letter, the flowers bloom periodically, and the purple and red are coming as promised. After months of intense preparations, the 2024 "Hua Zhi Chun" International Exchange Festival was held as scheduled in Ikebukuro West Exit Park, from April 12th to 14th, these three days of activities can be described as lively, surprises, and perfect ending! The wonderful performances of multiple nationalities and the mouth-watering delicacies of various countries can be called a grand international "New Year temple fair".

The event was supported by the Cultural Affairs Section of the Chinese Embassy, the China Cultural Center in Tokyo, the Toshima City Government of Tokyo, the Toshima City Tourism Association, other organizations in Toshima City, and various Chinese organizations. They are the strong backing of this event, and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks!

The prelude to the event kicked off on Friday's "Eve Festival", where the crescent moon shone high and the seats were full. Overseas Chinese leaders from all walks of life in Japan and friends from Japan gathered together to open the prelude to this cultural feast. At the opening ceremony, many heavyweight guests took the stage, including Professor Tetsuo Minakami, Vice President of Rikkyo University, Ms. He Xin of the Chinese Cultural Center in Tokyo, Mr. Tetsuro Sugawara, Secretary of the Japan-China French Exchange and Cooperation Japan Organization and Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Arts of Beijing Jiaotong University, Mr. Tetsuji Nagata, Executive Director of the Japan China Friendship Association, Mr. Hiroshi Tomizawa, President of the International Exchange Association, Mr. Yoshiaki Yu, CEO of GSAC, and Mr. Hu Yifei, President of the Tokyo International Association, NPO, the organizer of this "Hua no Chun".

In just three days, more than 300 performers from more than 80 performance groups contributed more than 100 programs on the stage of "Hua Zhi Chun", allowing us to immerse ourselves in a colorful world woven by different cultures. Here, different cultural backgrounds are no longer estranged, but bridges to learn from each other and appreciate each other, and such a cultural event not only shows the subtlety of the stage art of various countries, but also vividly interprets the infinite charm of multiculturalism.

Cuisine is the most direct and effective way to communicate across languages and cultures, and the number of restaurants coming out of this year's "Hua no Chun" is much higher than last year's, and the variety of cuisines is so rich that it is enough to make visitors fall into a wonderful choice.

From the classic Chinese cuisine (Beijing Roast Duck Burritos with Yi Pin Tea, Shanghai Fuchun Xiaolong, Yongxiangsheng Pan-fried Shanghai Dim Sum, Northeast Style of Xiaobei & Millet Pepper, Sichuan Flavor of Spicy Girl, Bowl Chicken with Tens of Thousands of Signatures, ECO's Bubble Milk Tea, YOURS's Creative Cuisine, Changle Food Culture, in addition to continuing to promote Fuzhou's traditional cuisine fish balls and meat swallows, this time it has launched the well-received beef slip and rice noodles, and the Zhengxin Chicken Chop Stall, which is popular among young people, has lined up in front of the stall... From Hida Wagyu beef to Japan, salt-grilled squid, Vietnamese fresh burritos, Mongolian skewers, Bengali croquettes, Indian fried cakes, and Turkish barbecue, you will be tempted to eat and drink.

Don't miss it, you can easily taste the delicacies of the world here, it can really be said that "foodies have no borders, and food connects all countries".

At this year's "Hua Zhi Chun" event, the booth of cultural exchange and support for foreigners in Japan was also a highlight.

Exhibitors include not only T&K Co., Ltd., a rising star in office equipment services, but also T&K Co., Ltd., whose electronic payment services have widely covered the Chinese community, and T&K Co., Ltd., which is famous in Japan for its large-scale game center.

In addition, there are a number of high-quality Chinese real estate companies such as Uenishi Real Estate, Nissin Real Estate and Towa マネジメント, Panda Takeaway throughout Tokyo, みんなのモバイル with mobile phone professional services, and Shanhai Chinese Co., Ltd., which focuses on online Chinese education. eROD Japan Co., Ltd. has earned a good reputation for its high-tech health and beauty products. The Kojima Legal Administrative Scrivener Office specializes in visa services for foreigners living in Japan, while the Oriental Imperial Court Culture and Art Museum prides itself on its exquisite handicrafts in the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Nanyun Nongfa hails from Gunma Prefecture and has focused on antioxidant vegetables for decades. Chinese supermarkets from Saitama Nishikawaguchi, ワンワン生鮮市場 and ヨツバマート provide fresh ingredients for the local area. サンワード Trading Co., Ltd. provides financial consulting services such as foreign exchange and futures. Other companies that provide professional medical and health services to the Chinese community include Sanhao Hospital, Sanhe Dispensing Pharmacy, Ikebukuro Rei Dental and Skin Hospital, and Kiyokawa Co., Ltd. These booths not only showcase their respective areas of expertise, but also reflect the intermingling and development of diverse cultures.

Healthcare services are indispensable guardians of our lives, especially in large-scale events. In this event, an elderly man accidentally fainted in the hot weather, and the situation was urgent. Fortunately, the director of Miyoshi Hospital, Qingchuan, quickly intervened and provided timely treatment to ensure the safety of the elderly. As the designated medical service organization for this event, Sanhao Hospital's professional emergency response capabilities and humanistic care of the event organizing committee jointly ensure the health and safety of participants, demonstrating the people-oriented service spirit.

In particular, at the beginning of this year's new year, Ishikawa Prefecture was hit by a severe earthquake, and we set up a "Ishikawa Disaster Relief Booth" for this event. In addition to selling Ishikawa Prefecture's famous ramen and curry rice, there are also special donation boxes to gather donations from all over the world.

Dressed in gorgeous hanfu, the members of the "Japan Hanfu Association" shuttled through the bustling crowd and participated in the fundraising activities with their enthusiasm. It not only shows the deep concern and practical support of the Chinese people in Japan for the disaster area, but also reflects the deep emotional ties between the Chinese and Japanese people. Through this form, we hope to convey warmth to the disaster area and continue the thousand-year-old friendship between China and Japan.

On the morning of April 14th, in order to cooperate with the publicity activities of the theatrical version of "Meet the Yangtze River Again" in Japan and enhance the Japanese people's understanding of today's real China, we specially invited the well-known director Ryo Takeuchi to visit the scene of "Hua Zhi Chun". He gave a wonderful and vivid introduction to "Meet the Yangtze River Again", which attracted warm applause from the audience.

The Japanese and Chinese audiences who came to hear the news wanted to take photos with director Ryo Takeuchi, and everywhere the director went, he was always surrounded by enthusiastic crowds. The arrival of director Ryo Takeuchi undoubtedly added the most eye-catching stroke to this Sino-Japanese cultural exchange activity.

As the event came to an end, we couldn't help but sigh that good times are always fleeting. However, at every moment of the "Hua Spring", we have deeply experienced the power of culture and the warmth of friendship.
