On the basis of reading picture books, the content of picture books is presented in the form of stage plays, which is an in-depth experience for children to re-understand and reprocess the content of picture books. In order to develop children's language skills, enhance children's performance ability and self-confidence, and also provide a stage for children to show themselves, on the morning of April 23, the county kindergarten held the first "Heya Cup" picture book drama performance.
Stepping on the cheerful melody and accompanied by bursts of laughter, the teachers and children kicked off the event with a witty and humorous hosting style. There were a total of 14 programs in this exhibition, among them, "Little Mouse Eats Chili", "Dayu Controls the Water" and "Yugong Moves the Mountain" won the first prize, and the children showed their in-depth understanding of the content of the picture book through vivid and interesting performances, and also won the warm applause of all teachers and parents present. This picture book drama performance activity fully mobilized the enthusiasm and initiative of the children, so that the children can harvest the fun of interpreting picture books, feel the charm of picture book stories, and experience the joy of creating picture book dramas in an environment of "freedom, autonomy, creativity and pleasure". At the same time, it also shortens the distance between kindergartens and families, teachers and parents, and parents and children, and successfully promotes children, teachers, and parents to develop good reading habits.
In the next step, the county kindergarten will also regularly carry out reading activities such as picture book borrowing and story sharing to provide a good reading atmosphere for children.
