The "Guidance Manual for Urban Home Renovation for the Elderly" has formed 47 transformation points in 7 aspects, including universal transformation, household space, living (room) hall, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, balcony, etc., in response to the needs of urban elderly people for home adaptation and aging. Based on the differentiated needs of the elderly, the transformation content is divided into two categories: basic and upgrading, the basic renovation content mainly meets the basic living needs, safety and convenience needs of the elderly, and the upgrading transformation content mainly meets the needs of the elderly to improve their life, and mainly enriches the supply of home services and improves the quality of life. The "Guidance Manual for Urban Home Renovation for the Elderly" provides a systematic, simple and feasible renovation plan and technical path for urban home renovation for the elderly, which can help the elderly improve their awareness of home renovation and improve the technical level of home renovation for the elderly in the industry.
