At the event site, the Yunyan District People's Armed Forces Department and the university recruitment workstation set up propaganda points early and placed recruitment propaganda materials. At one point, the propaganda station was surrounded by consultants. In the face of the enthusiasm of the students, the staff gave the students an all-round and in-depth interpretation of the conscription policy, explained the registration process, and gave guiding suggestions for the military career planning, military treatment and career development of college students who are about to enter the society.
In order to dispel the concerns of the students, the staff of the district people's armed forces department and the teachers of the school's recruitment station also specially invited a group of "special" propagandists, who were college students who had retired from military service and returned to school. Seeing these familiar students attracted many students to take the initiative to consult the conscription policy.
At the propaganda site, Ren Zongzhi, colonel of the District People's Armed Forces Department, also used his personal experience of more than 20 years of pen to introduce the significant impact of military camp life on life development and the benefits of joining the army, and inspired the students to actively respond to the national policy to join the army and serve the country.
"It has always been my dream to be a soldier, and this 'double election meeting' has set up a college student propaganda point for our graduates, providing us with an opportunity to better understand the development of the army and different job options, and I am more determined to join the army, and I hope to get my wish this year and realize my dream of joining the army!" said Liu Junjie, a fresh graduate who participated in the double election.
In recent years, colleges and universities have become the "main front and main battlefield" for the recruitment of college graduates, and the introduction of conscription propaganda into the "double election meeting" is one of the important measures taken by the Yunyan District Conscription Office to carry out in-depth recruitment propaganda work for college students.
