Recently, the first phase of the "2024 Hongkou District Job Search Ability Training Camp" came to a successful conclusion.
The week-long training camp attracted 30 unemployed young people from Hongkou District. Through classroom teaching, company visits and job roadshows, the students have comprehensively improved their self-awareness, career orientation, resume making, interview skills and other abilities.
In order to fully showcase the results of the training camp, a roadshow "Showcasing Our Job Search Results" was held in the afternoon. At the event, the relevant persons in charge of five well-known enterprises, including Muji, Far East International, Freudenberg, Guotai Junan, and Donghao, brought 12 popular positions to conduct in-depth exchanges with the students. The trainees took the stage to show their personal demeanor and accept the on-site test of the company's HR. With the knowledge and skills learned in the training camp, the participants obtained the job search clearance level of their favorite companies, which laid a solid foundation for further exchanges in the future.
At the closing ceremony, each student received a certificate of completion of the training camp, and the outstanding student representatives were also commended. Subsequently, professional consultants will continue to track the employment dynamics of the students, and provide targeted job recommendations and interview coaching.
By participating in this training camp, the trainees not only improved their employment awareness and job search skills, but also gained an in-depth understanding of the workplace environment and the latest job market demand through on-site visits to Shanghai Metro Operating Company, which laid a solid foundation for the trainees to formulate personal job search plans and improve the success rate of employment.
Next, the District Employment Promotion Center will continue to devote itself to the employment of young people such as college graduates, and plans to provide customized career guidance training courses with resources such as colleges and universities, and is expected to carry out 4 job search ability training camps, 2 social camps and 2 campus camps this year.
