Speaking of raising succulents, I have done a lot of things with a sense of accomplishment, such as sharing my maintenance experience to help everyone raise succulents better, almost all of the succulents raised by myself are raised by myself, and I have cultivated 20-30 new varieties by myself. Of course, I have done many regretful things over the years, such as the following 6 things, and I can't let go of it every time I think about it!

First things first: set off fireworks next to the succulent. During the Spring Festival, the family bought some fireworks, but they couldn't find a place to put them, so they had to borrow the roof of the building to raise succulent venues. However, because I was afraid that the fireworks would explode and hurt my hands, I put it on the flower stand at that time. But it was this decision that I regret to this day – I underestimated the impact of the fireworks, and it fell over halfway through, and then exploded directly at my fleshy flesh, and one of the ones that hurt my favorite blazing flame was that now I have no interest in taking pictures of it.

The second thing: the height of the trellis is not enough. In order to raise the succulent better, I specially asked someone to make a few flower stands a few years ago. However, at that time, because of the height of the mage, the trellis was not flush with the parapet when welding. Now that I think about it, I really regret that if the sustained high temperature of the previous year had been brought forward (Mage Jin was almost wiped out that year), then I would have made the trellis the highest, and then raised more succulents not only with more sunlight, but also with better ventilation!

The third thing: I just went into the pit and bought a lot of ugly orchid pots. Everyone knows that ten years ago, the price of succulents was very expensive, and in order to save costs, I didn't dare to buy beautiful flower pots, but bought a lot of ugly orchid pots (pictured below). As a result, many meat friends said that they lowered the appearance of meat, and I had no choice but to eliminate them. But a few hundred are not cheap, and I knew that I should have bought good pots in the first place, and they would not be broken without touching them, and at the same time they would not be wasted.

The fourth thing: buy the mage brocade at a high price. A few years ago, Mage Jin often cost a few hundred yuan a tree (or a single seedling), which was no problem at that time. But the timing of my purchase was terrible – I bought a Medusa seedling for 380 yuan that fall, and the price dropped to less than 100 yuan the next year, which I regret now.

The fifth thing: I didn't pay attention to the specifications when I bought volcanic stones. Because I still have a lot of my own hybrid succulents that I don't grow, I stock some grains every year when there are special events. But last year, I "capsized" in this matter - the one I often bought at that time was out of stock, and I changed to one and saw the volcanic stone and started directly, but after I got it, it was a volcanic stone the size of an egg! At this time, I found that I was used to buying 3-5 mm volcanic stone particles, and I didn't notice that the size of his volcanic stone was 3-5 cm. I took responsibility for my own mistakes, so I took a hammer and "knocked it" and eventually knocked the big bag of volcanic rock into small particles.

The sixth thing: take the maifan stone from the pavement and mix it with soil. In the past, I had the habit of giving succulent noodles, but one autumn when I turned over the succulents, I pulled all the maifan stones from the shop into the old grains, and then directly mixed the soil to raise the succulents. But this decision makes me regret it to this day! Why? That's because the maifan stones on the pavement are all 5-8 mm, and when used to mix soil, it seriously affects the growth of the succulent root system. Later, I had to change the soil again and pick out the big Maifan stones and break them.
