April 23 is the 29th "World Book Day". The grass warbler flies in April, which is a good time to read. In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, respond to General Secretary Xi Jinping's advocacy of "love reading, read good books, and be good at reading", implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality, and take the World Book Day reading activity as the carrier, and strive to create a learning atmosphere of loving reading, reading diligently, and knowing how to read, on April 20, the Luozhuang District Youth Volunteer Association, the Luozhuang District New Union Public Welfare Branch and the School of Commerce and Logistics of Linyi Vocational College launched a series of activities of the "Scholarly Companion Childhood Spring Reading Club" Youth Community Partnership Program in Xinqiao Community.
World Book Day
At the event, volunteers explained "World Book Day" to the children, conveyed the importance and benefits of reading, and helped them deeply understand the role and significance of reading in life. Volunteers also guide the children to choose their favorite books and enjoy reading while improving their language skills and knowledge. Under the guidance of the volunteers, the children shared their insights and experiences of reading, allowing them to experience the charm and fun of reading more deeply. In addition, the volunteers also instructed the children how to make beautiful bookmarks, hoping that they would enjoy reading and leave a precious memory at the same time. Through this activity, we hope to better stimulate children's interest in reading, cultivate their reading habits, let them increase their knowledge, broaden their horizons, and establish a correct outlook on life and values.

In the next step, under the leadership of the Luozhuang District Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Party Committee of Luozhuang District Social Organizations, the Luozhuang District Youth Volunteer Association will carry out in-depth volunteer service and youth social education by promoting a series of activities of the "Youth Community Partnership Program". We will explore cooperation with schools, communities and other institutions, use activities as a carrier, give full play to our professional advantages, and jointly cultivate and develop a group of young volunteers who are committed to volunteering.
