Peng Yuanliang, who has been passionate about calligraphy, painting and teaching since childhood, studied under the famous Chinese painting master Gao Xishun's apprentice Mr. Wu Jiyun as a disciple in 1978. He is now a member of the Chinese Artists Association and a master of arts and crafts design. He is a senior researcher of the Chinese Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, and the first calligrapher and painter recommended by the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Art Channel in 2013. He often said that Gao Xishun had the greatest influence on his painting style. Gao Xishun is a giant of Chinese painting and a famous art educator. He was a classmate of Mao Zedong and a teacher of Qian Xuesen. Qi Baishi commented on his paintings, and he was praised as a "divine product".
