Recently, the China Software Cup College Student Software Design Competition, jointly founded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, was officially launched.
As a top-level competition for global university software elites, the China Software Cup has been successfully held for 12 sessions since 2011, attracting thousands of teams, tens of thousands of teachers and students to participate every year, and distributing nearly one million bonuses and prizes.
In 2024, Dameng Data was invited by the organizing committee to participate in the design of the two competition questions have been officially released, and teachers and students are welcome to sign up!

Artificial intelligence-based intelligent recommendation system for database parameters
At present, many database vendors have many pain points in management and O&M.
For example, database design is still based on empirical methods and manual rules, which requires a large number of personnel involvement, especially when complex problems arise, and may require multiple DBAs to adjust and maintain the database, which is huge in time and cost.
To this end, Dameng made corresponding simplifications and abstractions for the database intelligent parameter tuning scenario, hoping that the contestants would develop a system for intelligent parameter recommendation for the database, establish an AI model for intelligent parameter recommendation, and use cloud computing + AI capabilities to empower the database based on the AI4DB concept, and optimize the performance of the database to improve the work efficiency of the DBA.

Campus intelligent training system based on Dameng cloud native big data platform
Based on Dameng's cloud-native big data platform, students are expected to use cloud-native, Web front-end development, database and other technologies to develop a training system to realize the practical training and examination of computer-related majors such as database and big data, and to complete student portraits through intelligent analysis. Through this training system, it is expected that students will be able to integrate knowledge, skills and tools, cultivate students' data thinking and problem-solving ability, and provide a platform and content support for college teachers to quickly carry out professional course training and teaching.

Registration & Timeline
Open the official website of Software Cup (https://www.cnsoftbei.com/) and click Register/Login. After registration, scan the code to enter the QQ group, and there is an administrator in the group to answer questions about system operation.
The schedule is as follows:
(1) Registration period: April 1 to June 15, 2024
(2) Counseling phase: scheduled from April 1 to July 1, 2024
(3) Submission: Until 14:00 on July 1, 2024
(4) Preliminary Evaluation: It is scheduled to be completed in July 2024
(5) Grand Finals and Award Ceremony: scheduled for mid-August 2024
