Recently, Guangzhou Metro released the progress of the new subway line under construction, among which the urban ring line - Metro Line 11, which has attracted much attention, has reached 98%, and it can be opened to traffic within the year if there is no accident.

East Extension of Line 3 (Panyu Square - Seafront)
The civil works have been completed by 98%. All four stations have been capped, and four sections and entrance and exit lines have been connected. The mechanical and electrical construction of the main line is basically completed, and the remaining civil and mechanical and electrical construction is carried out in the parking lot of Guangzhou New Town.
Line 10 (Xilong - Shipaiqiao)
The civil works have been completed by 83%. Among the 14 stations, 12 have been capped, 1 is undergoing civil construction, 1 is in preliminary preparation, 13 of the 14 sections have been penetrated, 1 has been preliminarily prepared, and the entry and exit lines have been completed. M&E construction was carried out at 12 stations. The depot of Guanggang New Town carried out civil and mechanical and electrical construction.
Line 11 (Railway Station - Pazhou - Railway Station)
The civil works have been completed by 98%. Among the 32 stations, 2 have been opened, 28 have been capped, 1 is undergoing civil construction, and 1 is in preliminary preparation; among the 32 sections, 1 has been completed and opened, and 31 have been fully connected; and the Chisha depot and 28 stations of the whole line are undergoing mechanical and electrical construction.
Line 12 (Xunfenggang - South of University Town)
The civil works have been completed by 79%. Among the 25 stations, 20 main structures have been capped, 5 are under civil construction, 18 of the 24 sections are connected, 5 are under civil construction, and the remaining 1 is being prepared for construction, a total of 11 shield machines are excavating, the civil works of the section yard and the entry and exit section line are basically completed, and the mechanical and electrical construction of the whole line has begun at 15 stations.
Line 13 Phase II (Chaoyang - Yuzhu)
A total of 81% of the civil works have been completed, 13 of the 23 stations have been capped, 10 have been under civil construction, 19 of the 23 sections have been completed, the remaining 4 have been civil construction, and the entrance and exit lines have been completed.
Line 14 Phase II (Jiahe Wanggang - Guangzhou Railway Station)
The total number of civil works completed is 57%. Of the 8 stations, 6 have been capped, 1 is under civil construction, and the remaining 1 is in preliminary preparation, 4 of the 8 sections have been penetrated, 4 are under civil construction, and a total of 7 shield machines are excavating. 2 stations were installed and renovated.
Line 18 Houtong Section (Xian Cun - Guangzhou East Railway Station)
The civil works have been completed by 45%. In the 1 station and 1 section, the shield section between Guangzhou East and Xian Cun has been broken through, and the construction of the underground excavation section is underway.
Line 22 Houtong Section (Chentougang - Fangcun)
The civil works have been completed by 60%. Of the 4 stations, 2 have been capped and 2 are under civil construction, and 1 of the 4 sections has been completed and 3 are under civil construction.
