This is a microcosm of the in-depth implementation of cultural projects to benefit the people, the consolidation of services, and the promotion of the protection of ancient books.
Since 2024, the library of the autonomous region has always adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply practiced Xi Jinping Cultural Thought, closely focused on the "1181" work idea, closely followed the overall deployment of the "Eight Major Projects", focused on the "four major events" and "four creations", and continued to promote the development of various key tasks with the sense of community of the Chinese nation as the main line and political construction as the guide.
In 2015, our region set up a leading group for national reading activities in the Tibet Autonomous Region, which is composed of 11 units, including the Propaganda Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee, the District Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, the District Department of Finance, and the District Development and Reform Commission. The autonomous region's inter-departmental joint conference system for national reading work, composed of 13 departments, including the regional department of culture and tourism, formulates the overall plan and annual plan for national reading in the whole region, sets basic standards for public services for national reading, and studies and solves relevant problems in the work of national reading. After years of construction, "Scholarly Tibet" has become a first-class reading brand in our region, the public service network of national reading has begun to take shape, and the participation of national reading has been further improved.
Yang Jin Zhuoga, director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Library, introduced that in order to do a good job in reading for the whole people, this year, the Autonomous Region Library continued to strengthen theoretical learning and formulated and issued the "2024 Annual Study Plan of the Theoretical Learning Center Group of the Tibet Autonomous Region Library Committee of the Communist Party of China". As of the end of March, 2 Party committee meetings and 3 theoretical study center group study meetings have been held, and the ability of the branch to lead various tasks has been strengthened, and the 2023 annual party branch secretary debriefing and evaluation meeting has been held to summarize the achievements of the party branches in 2023, put forward the next work requirements, and pointed out the direction for the work of the branch in the new year. As of the end of March, each branch held more than 40 centralized learning meetings and organized 21 themed party day activities.
At the same time, the 2023 Annual Work Summary and Commendation Conference of the Tibet Autonomous Region Library was held to summarize the work of the Tibet Autonomous Region Library in 2023 and commend advanced collectives and outstanding individuals.

As national reading has become a social norm, the Tibet Autonomous Region Library has continuously enriched the form and content of various reading promotion activities, innovatively held the "Tibet Autonomous Region Library 2023 Reading Promotion Summary and Exchange Meeting", and carried out the activities of "Books, Companion New Year, New Year Book Donation and Lantern Riddle Guessing in the Lantern Festival" with the theme of "Our Spiritual Home", as well as "Ajia Storytelling", "Xitu Tour", "Xitu Recommendation" and "Mobile Library Vehicle into the Barracks" and other 20 reading promotion activities, and constantly improve the richness, closeness, interactivity, and extensiveness of national reading activities, and use newspapers, periodicals, radio, television, mobile phones, Internet and other platforms to publicize the significance of reading, by the cadres and masses of all ethnic groups.
