The Wenzhou officially joined the combat sequence of the People's Navy in 2005. Since joining the service, the officers and men of the ship have fulfilled various tasks assigned by their superiors with a tenacious fighting spirit. All the officers and men of the ship were awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen" by Wenzhou City.

At the event site, citizens boarded the battleship with the same name as their hometown one after another to experience the naval culture up close. Damage control drills, naval characteristic boat art displays, and food tastings on voyages are all small activities full of war flavor and military flavor, which have been praised by the visiting masses again and again.

Looking at the modern weapons and equipment in front of him and listening to the crew's introduction to the performance of the equipment, Zhou Yunzhang, an 88-year-old sailor who served in a frigate in the Wenzhou Marine Police District more than 50 years ago, was full of pride in his eyes.

The medical service team composed of Wenzhou Medical University came to the ship to carry out the activities of sending doctors and medicines to the officers and soldiers, and the volunteers of Huimin shared Wenzhou's special snacks with the officers and soldiers, so that the officers and soldiers could feel the warmth from the "second hometown". The students of Wenzhou No. 12 Middle School presented the officers and soldiers with gifts such as blessing videos and postcards printed with Wenzhou's scenery.
