On April 18th, the 2024 Apricot Blossom Festival of Hohhot City and the 13th Apricot Blossom Festival of "Under the Apricot Tree" Huimin District of "Splendid Northern Xinjiang, Blossoming Green City" was grandly opened in the Apricot Blossom Valley of Wusutu Village, East Usutu Village, Youyouban Town, and the event lasted for 5 days.
As the main venue, the Usutu Apricot Blossom Valley, the flowers are gorgeous and delicate, refreshing and spleen, taking up the spring breeze, the ancient trees are verdant and majestic, strong and upright, faint and exude a dark fragrance, and the simple and powerful sense of time adds to the vicissitudes and mystery of life. In the Apricot Blossom Valley, the beautiful apricot blossoms and the crowd dressed in Hanfu complement each other, forming a beautiful spring scenery. During the event, there were also wonderful programs such as national style dance, Sichuan opera face changing, song and dance "Hohhot in Dreams", and solo "Renaissance Girl" were staged in turn. There are also permanent Hanfu garden tours, deer park interaction, fantasy westward journey adventures, Menglong fried street and other colorful activities, for the crowd to enjoy the flowers to dedicate an audio-visual feast in spring. Everyone is in groups of three or five, or pulling each other to take pictures, or shuttling among the sea of flowers, or frolicking and chasing under the apricot forest, or stopping to watch in the activity exhibition area, which is very comfortable and comfortable.
The event also set up sub-venues in Moni Mountain Intangible Cultural Heritage Town, Qile Xiannong in Yuanshanzi Village, Wusutu Square in Xiwusutu Village, Haolaigou Village Cultural Center, Wenliang Campground in Bakouzi Village, Duanjiayao Village, etc., focusing on traditional culture and Han culture, holding activities such as intangible cultural heritage apricot blossom theme experience, folk performances, and special agricultural product picking experience to meet the multicultural tourism needs of citizens and tourists.
Thanks to the increasingly widespread reputation of the Apricot Blossom Festival, the villagers around Youban Town skillfully take advantage of the flowering period and the location advantage of the large flow of people during the event to open up the sales of agricultural products under the fruit trees, use the vacant land and idle resources in front of and behind the house to develop the courtyard economy, and use flowers and fruits to develop the agricultural, cultural and tourism industry, and bring real money through tourism and flower appreciation.
In recent years, the Party Committee and Government of Youyouban Town have continuously studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, vigorously developed the agricultural, cultural and tourism industry, used plant protection drones to carry out pest control operations on thousands of acres of apricot orchards, and helped field management through scientific and technological means to promote the quality and efficiency of agricultural production. Actively carry out related activities such as voluntary lectures on "agricultural science popularization to help rural revitalization", technical guidance on safe drug use in planting and breeding, and promote science popularization work to serve agriculture and the people through popular science lectures and technical guidance in the fields, and help the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside with industrial revitalization. By holding activities such as "Apricot Blossom Festival", "Picking Festival" and "Harvest Festival", the "Festival" will meet friends and use "apricot" as a medium to promote and drive local apricots and other industries, so as to create a "rural + tourism + diversified model" integrating leisure tourism, farm tourism and characteristic picking, and at the same time carry out party building and co-construction activities to boost the production and marketing of large apricots, radiate and drive agricultural efficiency, increase farmers' income, and inject new vitality into rural development. Now, apricots have become an important industry for villagers to increase their income and get rich, bringing real "apricot" blessings to the villagers, and really implementing and achieving results in the mass education and practice activities of "feeling the party's kindness, listening to the party, and following the party".
