In order to further implement the national strategy of national fitness, promote the in-depth development of national sports. Recently, the Foping County Federation of Trade Unions and the County Education and Sports Bureau successfully held the 2024 Badminton Competition in Foping County. 18 teams of 72 athletes, after 3 days and 93 fierce competitions, the game officially ended in the county gymnasium. Yang Shuying, chairman of the county CPPCC, Zhao Zhenxing, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and head of the Organization Department, and Zhang Weimin, deputy head of the county government, attended the event.
During the competition, the players were full of energy and high morale. They either flexibly shuttled through the court, or skillfully used their skills, and won the applause of the audience for their wonderful duels. The players not only showed superb skills, but also embodied the spirit of unity, cooperation, hard work and enterprising.
After fierce competition, the champions, runners-up and third runners-up of each event were produced one after another, and the players from the county CPPCC office, the county party committee office, and the county national fitness service center team won the men's singles, women's singles, and mixed doubles championships respectively. At the same time, the competition also stimulated the love of the majority of employees for badminton and further promoted the development of sports activities for employees in the county.
The successful holding of the 2024 badminton competition in Foping County not only shows the positive spirit of the cadres and workers, but also injects new vitality into the development of sports for the county's employees.
