On April 22, a delegation from the Hanns Seidel Foundation of Germany visited Chongqing to inspect the women's development project.
In the studio of Yang Longmei, the intangible cultural heritage inheritor of Daoming Town, the delegation visited all kinds of bamboo weaving products on display, listened to the relevant introduction of Yang Longmei, the founder of the studio, the representative inheritor of Sichuan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage, and the 38th Red Flag Bearer of Sichuan Province, and affirmed it. The studio focuses on bamboo, combines the secondary and tertiary industries to build a bamboo industry chain, supporting intangible cultural heritage agricultural experience center and the industrial development path of "company + base + farmer", and its products are exported to Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom and other countries and regions, and lead more than 3,000 villagers to achieve home-based employment and stable income increase.
The delegation also visited the bazaar of good things that gathered loquat tea, Huaiyuan rattan weaving, Daoming bamboo weaving, Liaojia wood carving and other products, and learned more about the situation of the Chongzhou Women's Federation building a platform to promote women's flexible home employment and help rural revitalization, and praised the Municipal Women's Federation for driving the innovation of rural female talents with the help of e-commerce platforms.
Founded in 1966, the Hans Seidel Foundation's regional programs in China include academic exchanges, cross-cultural exchanges, women's development, and regional development. Chongzhou was one of the stops of the delegation's visit to Chengdu, after the delegation had already inspected the Yijie Community of Ginkgo Street, Dujiangyan City, Chaxigu Family Farm, and Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project.
