April 23, 2024 is the 29th World Book Day and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Navy. On this special day, Qiqihar Tiefeng No. 2 Primary School carried out a variety of activities.
Shakespeare once said that books are the nourishment of the whole world. Life without books is like the sky without sunlight, wisdom without books, like a bird without wings. On the morning of April 23, on the occasion of the 29th World Book Day, all the teachers and students of Tiefeng No. 2 School held a theme activity of "Accompanied by the Fragrance of Books, All the Way to the Sun".
Reading is a kind of "journey" of the mind. Reading a good book enlightens our wisdom and broadens our thinking. Reading a good book enriches our experience and purifies our minds.
In the book, there is not only spring, mountains and flowers, but also poetry and distance...... In the theme activities, the school advocates that students fall in love with reading in their beautiful childhood and become a warm, open-minded and thinking person.
Through different forms of reading activities, each class guides students to enter the broad and profound world of books, cultivate their sentiments, accumulate language, enrich knowledge, broaden their horizons, and activate their thinking, so that students can truly experience the joy brought by reading.
Today is also the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Navy, and our school uses the big screen to introduce to the students the development process of the mainland navy from scratch, from weak to strong, all the way to the waves, all the way to the sonorous steps.
Through close contact with the ships and listening to the teacher's explanation, the students felt the majestic power of the People's Navy to become a strong maritime figure, and at the same time deepened their understanding and love for the mainland navy.
