On April 23, Weinan Library and Weinan Disabled Persons' Federation walked into Weinan Encephalopathy Hospital to jointly hold the theme activity of "4.23 World Book Day, Walk Out of the Library and Care for Special Children".
The event began with a simple and warm donation ceremony, and Zhao Kai, director of Weinan Library, sent carefully prepared school supplies and daily necessities to the children on behalf of Weinan Library. Subsequently, the staff of the library led the children to read the three-dimensional picture books brought by the library, interacted with the children at zero distance, taught picture literacy by hand, and recited wonderful chapters together, so that the children could increase their interest in reading, strengthen their learning cognition, and feel social care in the process of using their hands and brains.
