On April 23, the "Power of Reading" 2024 Wuhou District All-Staff Reading Promotion Conference was held in Chengdu Wuqing Xisan Road Primary School of the Experimental Primary School Affiliated to Sichuan University. The event was hosted by the Education Bureau of Wuhou District, Chengdu, undertaken by the Wuhou District Education Science Development Research Institute and the Wuqing West Third Road Primary School of the Affiliated Primary School of Sichuan University, and co-organized by the Wuhou Company of Xinhua Winshare Publishing and Media Co., Ltd.

The 2023 Wuhou District "Scholarly Family", "Scholarly Campus", "Reading Promoter" and "Reading Star" award ceremony was also held at the event. Liu Xin, Inspector of Chengdu Municipal Government, Professor of the Department of Philosophy of Sichuan University, and Top Ten Figures in Promoting Reading in China Education News in 2023, gave a special lecture on "Promoting the Development of Education with Thoughtful Reading" at the end of the event. The activities were closely linked, and the various programs were wonderful, showing the bookish style of reading and in-depth sharing among the cadres, teachers, parents and students of the education system in Wuhou District.
