The police of the Dongcheng Police Station of the Kaiyuan City Public Security Bureau were on duty at the school guard post and found that some students were playing with flint toys at the school gate after school, and the flint toys could make sparks. Considering that there are many combustibles such as textbooks, homework books, and test papers on campus, there are potential fire safety hazards. On April 11, the Dongcheng Police Station, together with the Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Bureau of Natural Resources, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and the Tobacco Company, carried out a joint inspection operation of "protecting the seedlings" of merchants around the campus in the Dongcheng area.
The joint inspection mainly focused on whether the shops around the campus sold counterfeit and shoddy food, harmful toys, prohibited items, etc. to students, and whether they sold related products that endangered the physical and mental health of teenagers.
During the inspection, it was found that some shops were selling "cigarette cards" and "flintstones" that were not conducive to the healthy growth of minors. Law enforcement personnel have carried out legal education to business households, publicized the knowledge of "protecting seedlings", required them to abide by the law, standardize their operations, and resolutely put an end to behaviors that are not conducive to the healthy growth of students.
In this inspection, a total of 27 shops around the campus were inspected, and 21 problematic merchants were found, all of which have been ordered to be removed from the shelves for rectification. Eliminate potential safety hazards, ensure the safety of the surrounding environment of the campus, and escort the healthy growth of students.
