Recently, the Baiyin Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, the Baiyin Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the Baiyin Rural Revitalization Bureau announced the list of municipal intangible cultural heritage workshops in Baiyin City in 2023.
In recent years, under the correct leadership and care and support of the county party committee and the county government, the Jingyuan County Bureau of Culture and Tourism has conscientiously implemented the "one law and one regulation", adhered to the working policy of "protection first, rescue first, rational utilization, inheritance and development", constantly improved the mechanism, strengthened measures, explored the cultural heritage of Jingyuan, guarded the local historical context, and conducted in-depth investigation and excavation of the representative projects and representative inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage in the county. By the end of 2023, 100 provincial, municipal, and county-level intangible cultural heritage items such as Jingyuan Shuanglong shadow puppet play, Jingyuan folk songs, Jingyuan purse, Jingyuan embroidery, Jingyuan grits rice, and Jingyuan lamb meat production skills will be completed. In 2024, the first batch of 227 inheritors of county-level intangible cultural heritage representative projects will be evaluated.

The construction of intangible cultural heritage workshops is not only of great significance for the protection and inheritance of traditional folk handicrafts, but also plays an important role in promoting the strengthening and expansion of cultural tourism projects and driving the employment of local people. In the next step, our county will continue to guide and support the construction of intangible cultural heritage workshops, carry out extensive skills training, improve the skills of practitioners, expand the number of inheritors, promote the creative transformation and innovative development of local intangible cultural heritage resources in production practice, and effectively do a good job in the inheritance, development and protection of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
