Today, the "Wireless Building" has become the location of the University's Space-Air-Ground-Sea Communication Technology Integration Research Institute, aiming at "world-class" efforts.

Professor Zhang Shaowu, who graduated from the Southern University of Posts and Posts in 1978 and stayed on to teach, is the designer of many Internet celebrity check-in points in the school. Professor Zhang Shaowu believes that the construction of the campus environment should also focus on "cultivating people", and the square pavilion he designed implies that the students of the Southern Post come from all over the world, and run from the south to the four directions of the national construction.
