On April 22, the "One College, Two Rankings" project of Xinghu School in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area was launched, the school's Juvenile Academy of Sciences was unveiled, and the first batch of students with outstanding performance in science courses "Little Academicians" also appeared simultaneously.

It is reported that the "first academy" of the project refers to the "Juvenile Academy of Sciences". By building the Xinghu Juvenile Academy of Sciences, the school has built a platform for scientific experiment learning and communication, tailored personalized science and technology courses and topics for students, and cultivated personalized innovative talents.

The "two lists" refer to the "scientific problem list" and the "scientific and technological invention list". The school has set up a science question list, and students are encouraged to ask questions, and the list is made and the list is taken. The establishment of the Science and Technology Invention Billboard links the resources of family, school, society and other parties to encourage students to transform the problems on the problem list into scientific and technological inventions.

It is worth noting that the "One Hospital, Two Rankings" project covers all teachers and students of the school, and links family and social resources.

"We found that parents, enterprises and other sectors of society are very willing to participate in school science education, and schools also need multiple resources to jointly create a good science education ecological field, so we tried to set up a platform for the Juvenile Academy of Sciences. Zhang Xianbin, principal of Xinghu School, introduced that the school mobilized the forces of all sectors of society to create a new pattern of "four-in-one" Xinghu science education led by the school, implemented by teachers, fully participated by students, and actively cooperated by parents.

In the specific implementation, Xinghu School uses the "Science +" teaching model to explore fully integrated science education.

In terms of curriculum integration, the "science + discipline" course is carried out according to the characteristics of each discipline.

In terms of path integration, the participants are parents, students, teachers, members of the community, etc., and a joint meeting of all parties is held every semester to seek the development of science education in the school.

In terms of resource integration, society, families, universities, enterprises and other parties participate, relying on social forces such as popular science facilities, science and education enterprises, and scientific research institutes, to improve the school's science education practice base.

At present, Xinghu School has built a number of "science +" problem courses, and creatively opened club courses such as robot construction, programming, science experiments, and model aircraft. In February this year, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of national primary and secondary school science education experimental zones and experimental schools, and Xinghu School in Liangjiang New Area was on the list.

On the day of the launch of the project, Xinghu School awarded the practice base of the Juvenile Academy of Sciences to a number of co-construction units, and Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Bashu Middle School and Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Xida High School were awarded by Xinghu School as the Joint Research Center for the Cultivation of Top-notch Innovative Talents.

Wu Shengjun, director of the Three Gorges Institute of Ecology and Environment, Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, executive dean of the School of Resources and Environment of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Chongqing), and doctoral supervisor, led the students to explore the world of water and discover the mysteries of water in an entertaining and educational way.
